  1. Hi BB. Sorry to hear about your rifle mate. Before you go spending more money on a new barrel, have a go at straightening yours, it can be done. First, remove the scope, and the stock from the rifle, trigger unit to if possible. Lay the rifle mechanism on a table, use a towel for protection, and to help stop too much sliding. Cock the rifle holding it as straight as you can, let the cocking lever go all the way untill it bottoms out, then apply further pressure, you will feel the barrel move, then it will offer resistance again, at this point you will know you have gone far enoug

  18. Hi Andy. A good stain to use is "Rustins solvent based", apply with a lint free rag. Before you start to apply the stain, dip a lint free rag in turps/whitespirit and give the stock a good wipe over, so you dampen the surface, then apply your stain. ( Doing this will prevent streaks ) When you achieve the shade you want, palm your oil into the stock, generating as much heat as you can with your hand. You wont achieve a good depth of colour by adding the stain to the oil mate, so best to stain, let it dry completely, then oil. Not difficult to do, you could always practice on another pi
  19. Hi Lewis. Like most of the other kit we buy for hunting, a lot depends on the budget you have, or the amount you are prepared to spend on the kit you need or want.
