  1. Aye up Davey. I wish Night-Hunter well with his development, and I am sure it will be a cracking unit. But I have to agree with Liam ( Iksopener ).....I think the Nitesite NS50 / NS200 will take some beating, at the moment anyway. It will need to be somthing very special to knock it off the top spot. Having said that, progress and new ideas are always being bettered, never keep up with it all We may have the choice of another half dozen new design units in 6 months time . Looks like Ill be in my sweet shop in the morning ATB. Bill.
  2. Hi Davey. Cheer's me dear Got to say, I am quite taken with the Nitesite, very impressed. BUT.....if you know of somthing that can better it, I could be interested in that too. Have to be quick though, Im picking up the Nitesite in the morning. Got any details or pictures mate? ATB. Bill.
  3. Hi Peter. Fair enough mate, and thanks for your advice. Have just ordered two of the batteries, so Ill stick with the tubing and see how it goes. Looking forward to giving it a go. ATB. Bill.
  4. Hi DDurose. In the process of buying one of the Nitesites, like you, I think they are a good bit of kit. Thanks for sharing the link to the lighter batteries Think I may order a couple ATB. bill.
  5. Hi Liam. Only trouble with mass produced will be the impact on the bunny population as a whole when released.......wont be ought left ATB. Bill.
  6. Hi Clare. Same from me, good luck with your patent. Look forward to seeing your work soon. ATB. Bill.
  7. Hi Liam. As above, good to hear from another shooter happy with the unit. This idea was maybe born from those video cameras that the pioneers cobbled together over the years......"Gawd bless em" Have you heard about the Merlin DSA fitting it mate? ATB. Bill.
  8. Hiya Peter. Thank you for the heads up on the Lithium batteries mate ....Ill go take a look. Good to hear you are getting on well with your's, and that your happy with the performance of the unit. Dont know how right it is, but the DSA bracket for a Merlin is supposed to fit the scope eye bell, and camera, negating the need for the rubber tubing ? Have your heard this?.....not cheap at £89.99 + post of £3.99 mind you ATB. Bill.
  9. Hi Wurz Yes.....have to admit, Im all lathered up in atisipation Its good to see some positive post's from other users too, inspiers confidence. I go to pick it up tomorrow morning, so, weather permitting I will be playing soon. ATB. Bill.
  10. Hi all. Been thinking of some night vision for a while now, and am going for the Nitesite NS200. Being a person who needs to wear glasses all the time, this unit really appealed to me. It can be added to a rifle scope in seconds, and removed with the same ease. Swopping between rifles if needed, not a problem at all. Can be used during the day, and at night, the picture quality looks amazing. A clean and tidy unit, but the battery is the fly in the ointment, would need to wear that on a belt, but then, not a problem really I suppose. There are two models to choose from, t
  11. Hi Micckey. Think I read an earlier post of your's re the stock. You were happy with making one appart from the inletting of the action. I had a go at making one myself a while back, and have to say I thougherly enjoyed doing it. Was lucky to have a Carpenter friend who did the inletting for me. If you dont know any carpenters, have a word with a joinery shop boss/manager, offer a bit of cash and you may get the offer of help. Take your existing stock along with you for them to get some idea of what you need. Best to ask before you order your blank Dont know if you have seen the cu
  12. Absolute BARGAIN !! for someone sensible calibre too
  13. Hi Nade. Worth buying a large cheap soft make up brush from Boots or the like. Use that first to remove any possible grit caught within the glass housing. THEN use your T shirt or glasses cloth. If you dont remove the dirt and grit first, you will stand a chance of scratching your glass. ATB. Bill.
  14. Seem to remember you saying that about the S200 Gary .........if you go ahead and get it dipped, youll need to place it under lock and key,.... laser alarms,...... rabid guard dog's,....... to keep it safe and away from her grasp
  15. Very nice grouping mate....that rife and you will be putting them groupings in at 40/45 yards easily The other lads, and Shannon, best look out now Has Shannon seen it yet????.....or have you kept it hidden from her Bill.
