What im about to say is just my own opinion. After being on this and other hunting forums one thing has me a little bit perplexed. We as felow hunters seem rightly proud of our skills or of our dogs abillities out in the field. Of course this is only natural and why shouldnt we be? We as humans suffer a thing called an ego, unfortunately others more than some. It is when we as the owner of an ego let it out of its box and let it run rampant that it has the potential to do harm to both ourselves and others. Doesnt this prove just what im trying to say? if we leave it down to others to tell us what is and isnt law we are on a hiding to nothing. My working life is govenered by such laws as the hunting act and the big and nasty countryside act. I for one wouldnt leave it to chance that what someone has told me on some internet forum or over a pint of beer to be gospel.

To clarify, I didnt say they where exempt what i said was quote: have a look under excemption hunting regaurding the legal requierments of written permissiom ect ect...unquote Perhaps i should have worded it as such,, to see for yourself what you can and cant hunt, get off your lazy arses and get hold of a copy of the hunting act and read it for yourself, that would then leave you in no doubt to what is legal quarry. How what i wrote in my last post could be read as i was saying under exemption hunting it is legal to take tree rats with your dogs, i find hard to understand

The laws regarding tree rats, mice and rats is explained within The Hunting Act. Have a look under exception hunting regarding the legal requierments of written permission ect ect.... It amazes me how many of us still have working dogs but dont have the faintest idea of how the advent of The Hunting Act has affected our working of a Hunting dog. its not hard to get hold of a copy of the act. I do believe it may even be pinned on here for all to read. Regardless if the Act is shite or not, we owe it to ourselves to at least have a basic understanding of it just in case a time comes wher

Same as ditch but a little softer on the dogs belly is marg, a tub of. Let the dog eat the marge and stand well back as it will shit through the eye of a needle in about an hour. It works and is kinder than soda cristals.

Gay man takes the ashes of his dead lover to their fav curry house. Old Pitel behind the counter asks if there is anything he can do. I personally cant see the point of keeping a dog in a ready state of fitness out of season. Keep it fit of course and well exersiced but not match fit so to speak. I have found it does dogs no harm to lay off over summer, giving yourself a steady 8weeks to ready your dog for the season.

There is some encoragement in those words for sure, but as with anything to do with politics there is allways someone waiting in the wings to scuppa another mans aims. Dont get me wrong i would love to se a return to hunting as it was but im a sort of believe it when i see it kind of guy. And before anyone thinks im an anti or a harbinger of bad news, im not, a realist maybe. So as it stands so far we need Mr Cameron in office, and the majority to attend Not much to ask realy is it? In reply to nightwalkers comments i dont think anyones bitching about it, just debating if any party would honestly stand and say thay would turn over the ban. I agree with you nightwalker it is something that i and many others try and hold on to but, when talk is cheap and words are meaningless politictions seem to be the main players in what can be just a cleaver use of words and empty promises. sadly the phrase of actions speak louder than words has never been so true. But like has been asked before,who do you trust? I myself would love to see the ban overturned,sadly i cant see it as being that forward a thing to impliment. I try and keep in touch with political events as best i can but im afraid the conservertives seem to be letting labour get away with it still, they dont seem to have the drive to chase labour and point out all there little lies and mistruths that we have had to swallow. It may just be me but i cant see Cameron as the figurehead that will lead the conservertives back into power and hopefully giving them the chance to overturn the ban

Lets take a step out of the political debate about partys just for a moment. If for one moment the conservertives were to gain power do you think for one moment they would openly make a stand to re-instate hunting? course they fecking wouldnt, It would be a political nail in there coffin. And i for one could see alot, not all of your foxhunters who follow packs, not wanting it to be brought back into the public eye as nothing much has changed for most packs. Put it back in the public eye and most packs will suffer from unwanted attention. Why do you think that fellow hunters as in foxhunte
