here in suffolk the red stags are very much an impressive animal and i for one wouldnt slip my dog on one, why? because i value the health and welbeing of my dog and against a beast of that size odds on your dog will come second best. Saying that the good old muntys when they stand their ground can be a little lively

What are the advantages of an FAC airrifle ?
mole catcher replied to john b's topic in Airgun Hunting
unlike the falcon the super ten is regulated to a higher degree, what i meen by that is it will be more consistant in its power on every shot compared to mine which can flutuate a little from shot to shot. not that it is that noticable when shooting only on the crono. -

useing an fac falcon and cant fault it. flatter tragectory like you wouldnt believe, further range for sure, speed is a big factor and is very noticable and stopping power is spot on. Big problem is finding a pellet that suits the power, they dont act in anyway the same as a sub 12ftlb gun. even a pellet that the gun loves changes with the extra power. shots per charge changes as well but not that it is a big deal, more of a play off in requierments. -
I own and work a beddy x whippet and compared to my other lurcher he is a lot more work to reign in. Headstrong and very wilfull. Good dog nun the less just a bit more off a handfull than im used to. beddy whipp back to a beddy whipp.

Not a stag but a mature hind was taken by my dog whilst walking with the Wife and kids. It was in our local forest and caused me all sorts of shite with the police and the forest rangers. Cut a long story short, had i not been out with the family and making so much bloody noise to get him to stop the chase, and had fewer strangers not stopped and helped me track the dog i feel i would have been yet another vitim off this ludicris law. here he is the shite bag

And this is all done under the banner of helping the environment.........YEAH RIGHT! Bet the money made by this latest scam wont go anywhere near the pot that helps fund environmental issues. F*****G GOVERNMENT ARE ONLY LOOKING AFTER THEMSELVES

BIG FISH, yes that net in the pic is a hand made net, 100yrds long with a 100% bagging. back in december i put up a post ( keeping old skills alive) on how it was made to show those who fancied having a go at making one. Your right it is a great feeling to make and catch in a hand made net, keep it up and get started on that 100 yarder

Bending down to feed my lurcher a few yrs back when she jumped up and head butted me breacking my nose. worst bit was 4 days later i had my 8yr old niece sitting on my lap when she threw her head back and nutted my painfully swollen nose..........passed out there and then on the sofa :black eye:

FENBO: theres no need to justify your self on your actions, least of all on here. if you had posted of a nights long netting catching 40plus rabbits all replys would have been, good post, cracking pics, job well done mate. Sadly bigotry lives on in all its forms

my nets are set at about the 18-20inch mark aswell, seem to work fine allthough in longer grass i will raise them a little

I think what netrigger meens is still have a large net but instead of going to all the hassel of making the wire sliders why not use a ring as normal? i have 5ft poke nets with rings and can honestly say they work fine as long as you set the pegs so the draw cords are tight, but thats good working practise regardles of net type or if sliders or rings are fitted. Oh forgot to mention, i use 1.1/2 inch rings on my poke nets instead of the 1inch ring

The bsa lighning has a good reputation as a being a sound rifle, acutate and bang on the legal limit. I dont own one myself but i have shot my mates and found it to be a sound work horse of a rifle. Many on here own them and a lot of full time pest controlers use them. I have shot rabbits with it and found it up to the job in hand and at 140 quid it sounds like a bargain, not just a bigginers rifle but a good intermediate rifle.

try getting deepheat on your love spuds, by feck that smarts a little and no mater how much water you splash on them it still burns . cold milk done the trick. BETTER EXPLAIN. in the gym, plulled my romboid muscle, applied deepheat, forgot to wash hands, went to the toilet...........you can guess the rest

Ive shot many springers untill now, own a falcon. Out of all the springers ive owned from bsa, webley air arms, the best springers ive owned have to be the HW range. i loved the and 77 but the last i owned was a 95k. just like the only lighter. Jasper. if your looking for a value for money springer with top of the range performance you cant fault the 95k. Ask mad Al, he now owns my old 95k and recons its a real joy to shoot

I think you will find that on larger nets(5ft) they will close a lot faster with 2 draw cords as with the poke net, that is why they came about. With the 2 draw cords and pegs when set the nets closing distance is halved compared with a single draw cord. On single draw cord purse nets it is good working practise to set the net with the draw cord tight with the peg being furthist away from the hole so that the tight draw cord will allow the net to start pursing as soon as the rabbit enters the net.

Heather Mills was saying at the perturnity case about who gets what that Paul only ever bought her 2 gifts at christmas. when asked what they were she replied "" well your honour, a lady shave wet &dry razor for my left leg and a stanley no6 wood plane for my right leg""

Heather Mills snapped wearing a REAL mink coat in todays MIRROR, double standards me thinks. All the animal charities she sponsors like PETA have spat their dummies out about it Poor old Paul Mcartney doesnt have much luck does he, i meen when his wife Linda died he had a hell of a job telling the kids he had good news and bad news, He said """ bad news kids your mums dead "" they cried. when asked what is the good news he replied "" weve got KFC for dinner""
