    Some people need to read the topic 1st before they start typing bull shit. This is your dogs 1st time doing this and l hope the last hope yea give him a good shoeing for it but get him out in and about sheep again as soon as possable but in a place where if it goes wrong you can get it in control as fast as possable. Remember it was a bull x that did this when was the last time it got to kill something because they do go off the rails abit if they dont get a kill every so often.     Every saulk lucher man the winter hare is the best animal to test your dog against seen a hare run dog till it was walking.and love seeing my own after a hare but a good deer is as good as any hare if not better cant jump 5 6ft fences and rivers turn ,stay, and speed plus size and harder bring down so imo a good deer is better then a good hare. ( look and bambi he could out run bullets him and his da jump waterfalls and swim plus knocked the f**k out off 9 dogs thats a good deer :clapper: )

    People are always on here fighting over weather its right or not till hunt during the summer hare rabbit deer am not into it myself but just wondering why people dont hunt the likes off mink monkjack deer and other animals that are not aloud in the uk that the goverment are trying get rid off one yea be doing lots off ppl favs by getting rid off them and 2 yea dog could still hunt on in the summer months :thumbs:

    my pup just turned 8 months and wont see the lamp till she doing her job during the day think if yea take them out early on the lamp alot they seem till stop at ditches during the day think the rabbit as gone down hole or into thick cover so once there flying though ditches during the day then they get brought out at night

    Your putting hancock and philp king as the same there is a big diffence philp king as breed some off the top coursing dogs in lreland and his dogs are breed for working dogs not a track greyhound put over some old sheep dog sitting at the front door. Any one that lives in lreland and is in the hunting game knows philp king till have good dogs and the bitch he has now is to be one off the best at the moment(word off mouth) As for paddy sweeney breeding good dogs MUCKY PAWS you tell us as you are paddy sweeney and yes heard yea have good dogs in your yard

    What doe you mean kenneled together are they in a run with one dog box??? Dont have a run just good size back what l keep my dogs together but they all have there own kennels where they can go till get away form the other dogs if they want. Only ever had one fight and its was over bones l give 2 the dogs am always there to keep and eye out but one day went to shop and my wheaten bitch and my lakeland shaking it like a fox dogs just dont get bones any more sample as

    Just got my self a 4 month old springer and never had a bushing dog before but need one was on the look out for a good working bushing dog for about year now and could not get my hands on one.Anyway was offered the pup on the cheap and jumped at it(£40) just wondering if and one as any tips on how get the wee dog working will be bringing ferreting and out with the luchers.So any tips br help full thanks iceman

    Most luchers will kill a small cub easy and when they do people thibnk they have a fox dog thats killed a load off cubs but the is a diffence between a small cub and a big dog fox or vixen that have big teeth and do alot off damage. An too dave a biggest yea have apup out off dogs that kill foxs does not mean that your pup well turn out till kill foxs if a bitch as 10 pups you well be luck if half turn out to be single handed fox dogs

Dont understand some people sometimes dont use this dont use that but how did you all know that the pit bull greyhound was going make a good lucher?????How do you know that a boxer greyhound wont make a good lucher do you have 1 or seen one work????There is all sorts off luchers crosses now days just some people dont like change and stick with what they know.     Whats the proplem off putting pictures up off dogs killing the game there after yea some people have put pictures up off fox getting killed and 3 dogs but maybe it could have been two pups learning the game with a bigger dog if yea stopped and thought for a min. And putting a pup in at 10 months makes it a single handed fox dont think so .How big was the fox it took down dont tell me it was a massive dog fox and tell me that the young pup didnt take a good eating.     Your saying your dog is fit and can walk for miles but walking and running after game is too diff things.Because a footballer is training does not make him match fit matchs make him mitch fit.So think your dog just needs more running and less walking tell get his fittest up bring him out lamping for few nights and get him running then 2 nights later the same but more runs and so on. What is the breeding in the dog???????
