    just asking cant see that dog or bitch in the picture and do you breed from him or her or keeped the same lines???? i might have a better pic somewhere will have to dig one out this pic was taken when i was 14/15 and never got the chance to breed from her as when she was 3 she ended up with cancer and didnt last too long after it i was gutted she was my 3rd lurcher and by far in the top3 of the better dogs i have had over the years she looks a fine looking animal and looks like she good at her job just a shame you didnt get up off her

    ok lot are saying dont hunt hares in snow then what is a winter hare?????use hare men must only get out few times a season and your dogs only get few runs waiting on the right winters day to run your dogs. most off you all so look at the hare as a sport when other look at it at hunting there big differnce in both both words. Fair play to you long dog men who only run one dog on a hare and give them 100 yards head start and stand and watch dog run hare for 5 6 mins but its not for me dont own longdogs l own luchers and slip two dogs on hare snow or not why??? because there luchers not longdog

    seen pups hold back till 10 11 months and pups started at 5 6 and really see the difference in them its really up till the pup if it wants to hunt while just let it some pups come on lot faster then others

    that is the best terrier on the road lol but your talking about catching foxes it all depends on the dog and the land seen good fox dogs knock about 15 bends out fox on lamp and they still get away foxes are hard they can turn on a 50 pence and could but lot hares to shame on how good they can turn and the way they use they tail is great to watch

    Not all bitches are the same some take be in season hard others it does not even annoy them.My own bitch could not be annoyed doing anything she just off hers about 3 weeks now and she back till her old self. Imoa l would not run her at hare few rabbits yes but would t let her after hare the course could go on for a while and you could do bit damage :thumbs:

    I do the same use a lead with the end cut off would never use rope my mates dog pulls like f****r on the lamp and blue rope is a no no you end up with no hand
