    They say after 21 days her body starts to calm down and get back to normal i give mine 4 week start to finish but its just my opinion pal not fact every dog is diffrent ATB Would you hunt them while in there break or just walks???And is there any stuff out there that can help her come a break sooner

    He has prop changed the way he breed his dogs because he is just changing with the times and thinks the whippet x saulki would be a better suited dog for Ireland now days.Know a few that are running them.Smalll ,fast,can stay on and good around cover.

    Its great bring on a young dog on the lamp.Watching all the hard work you and the dog have put in finally pay off.At the start it can drive you mad but also having you laughing your head off but there is nothing better then your young dog catches its 1st rabbit and bringing back to you full off punch for its self.Oh it does its 1st squatter

    All depends on what you hunting and the much power you need if you are just hunting rabbits then you dont need a big powerful lamp.

    Well been lamping past two years but will be hunting hares more this this year (if l have the dogs) but still lamping at lest once a week. Some new gear this year boots and tops and bottoms but nothing to talk about.Have the same lamp but will be getting new battery next week (motorbike does me)better then the car one l used too carry about when l was 15,16. 3 dogs l be running this year,saulki x lucher pup 15 months,lucher x lucher 22months old and my old bitch will be my sub age 7 saulki x wheaten x grey. Hope to have good season and injury's free (l hope) but never works out like that.S

    What bull shit yards 100 yards may be in the big open land off England but in small tight fields with gates,ditches,hedges,etc etc you give the hare that far you be lucky the dog gets on to it. Have yet to see a hare getting up and a man letting it get so far before they slip.Maybe in competitions where there is rules but most off yous are just keeping yourselves going.

    you can do all the hours you want on the road or free run them all day if you want but a dog wont be full fit until its getting runs (hunted week in week out)There is walking fit then there is hunting fit big difference

    If there is a market for luchers there will always be people who want to make a few pound.Hancock as breed out off none working dogs for years and is still doing it why????Because there is always people out there that buy them and listen to the shit that is writing in books and off drunking men in pubs and gamefairs.If people would stop buying the shit then there would not be any and if people would do the right thing with there jackers pull ups etc etc then it would cut down the % off dirt out there.     if you get a good one there well worth it but if they jack on things that bit back then what do you do because there no good for hares or rabbits that is why there is so much for sale in gum tree done deal etc etc but as l said if you get a good one that can do the job you be happy man

    l dont get how your going have a lamping comp that your going hunt diff things how can it be fair?????you might on call up 1 fox that night or see only one deer cant see it working and women dont only hunt rabbits They do, an if they don't they should best luck think your going need it

    If your running a lamping comp what rules would you like to see before it starts????? The best off so many slips.Most caught in a time period .picture and name off dog you are running must be put forward etc etc just like other people thoughts

    get new spot and leave that one alone for a while or try coming in a different way into the fileds and cut them off

    Rabbit is fine to feed to dog best way is too cook them 1st or leave them in frezzer for 14 days so dog wont get worms. My older bitch never brings rabbit back until its dead because she is harded mouthed but her pup brings them live straight into my hands. PS welcome to the site
