    Ive been asked to go up to the big garden at the weekend and do some ferreting The woman is so fed up with the rabbits coming in from the farmers field which is adjoining to her garden that she went and spoke to him and has landed me more permission there The farmer says Im welcome anytime He has loads of land too!! Im well chuffed!! I only hope and pray that Foot and Mouth doesnt f**k it all up for me and everyone else Its such a big worry!

    That was a brilliant reply Ditchy!! Artemis, my main concern whilst out hunting with the ferrets is them being all squashed up in my car for hours on end and then trudged around the coutryside in the same little box - which i might add, is more than suitable whilst ferreting, it keeps them safe and gives me something to sit on What i do is have them in the car in a cat carrying box which is ample room for them, there is bedding in there with wood shavings in the back corner and a water bottle attatched to the front. When we get to our destination the ferrets are then transferred into the bow

    Oh, Im so pleased they are going to a good home mine is doing fine, everyone absolutely loves her to bits and because of her - the whole family are now into ferrets She is mad as a hatter, she jumps around all over the place and never seems to tire!!

    I was just wondering, what is she like around other dogs? Is she part trained now that she is 4 months old, I mean toilet trained, usual commands etc? What is she like on the lead etc. Its unbelievable that she is still for sale

    Try and get a spring that will fit around the bottle but make it a tight fit (If you know what I mean?) That way you can just leave it on the cage all the time and slot it in and out when changing the water, its probably much easier than the wire you got with the bottle. Or like H&J says, use a bowl that screws to the cage. Thats what I use and its never spilled.
