    Yo yo yo fellas! What times do you lot prefer to go lamping this time of year? I've been just after it gets dark (nowt much about) Been approx 8-9.30pm onwards (same as above) And I went at midnight and that's when I had success. When is best for you guys? Is it worth going early hours maybe.. it dark say 4.30-7.30 and that's a big window I look forward to hearing from you..including the ones who post utter shite for a laugh ATB Geordieboy

I do know he's spent a lot of time on here posting (23,579) so can't get out and about to much!     Evening lads and lasses. I inherited a half decent camera and Ive always liked a good picture. Ive never took any myself but hope to..just wondering where is best in Hertfordshire area for birds, wildlife, scenic etc etc to give me good picture opportunity..Even somewhere nice to walk with the wife and kid. Also any tips or is it just a case of clicking away and hoping a I catch a good one? ATB Geordieboy

    Cheers for the input fellas. I went for a Nikko Mountmaster 3-9x50. I'm happy with it and can't see me upgrading for a while. I went out a couple of hours ago just for a little mooch and the scope is fine for lamping. I know there are scopes way way better but like I said I'm happy so far.     Reet, for all you folks following this thread in anticipation of some very sound advice from the Airgun masses...I have done some extensive research on yours and my behalf, and have discovered there are things called "AIR RIFLE CLEANING KITS" Lots of companies make them so not sure which is best. All you who used the willy technique can give it a rest. Simples!! Geordieboy

      haha true mate,I don't have any dogs anymore...this is the biggest moggy in the south a think..it's destroyed the old man next doors fence cos it's to big to climb it!! a gentle nudge with a catapult maybe?
