Back in the day when coursing was OK........... i personally would stick to day time, however others choose to lamp to bring theirs on............and of course if you had intended to use them for night time or day < for me it was always day > either way its what *suited* You back then............, the pups were out walking the fields at 6/8 months onwards depending on their development and knowing when the * TIME* was right is down to the individual Good Luck and alb Flynny!

Yes it nothing more then a beauty contest as you cannot PROVE the lurcher works and you will be nobodys friend bar the winner, My Gripe is, Strung Up Necks and stacking,Lurcher dont have their heads and bodys like this when working so why showing? , we are not in the KC so i do no see the need for it!! when i have judged i did not allow it, one lady who i have seem win MANY SHOWS, said her Lurcher could not move unless it was stung up ........... i dont think i was her biggest Fan or her Mine Personally i like to also see a lurcher on the move in a triangle and then the usual feel ove

we have 4 lurchers 2 with Collie in and the 2 Bully Girls Rosie is now 12 bully / grey and Jet the black Staffie/Whippet aged 5 both will hold in the net or leave......... we have not used a purse net for 3 years now i have chosen the Bully girls for this thread as bull crosses they seem to get over looked for ferreting Bully girls 2009
