Nice Honest Reply Maxi , I personally dont think some realise how hard it is to have kept a coursing dog at the top of the league, when they were running 3 and sometimes 4 matches a week, i must add i am quite sure You do.. but really its a task keeping them sound and takes its toll in the latter years, the Pic thats up of You holding Captain, he was no spring chicken there was he!! Still had it in him tho Happy Days, Lets Hope they return!! So how many bitches did splodge cover Flynn aint a ruddy clue

So if a horse rider trespasses on a building site do you expect them to down tools? as far as I can see whether you are on a horse,on foot, motorbike or whatever the minute you stepped foot of the areas you are entitled to to be then your safety is your responsibility and not mine I should not have to stop my work/legal activities on private land because someone can't stay on the path, whilst people are on the legal rights of way I am happy to extend them every courtesy possible, but they loose that the minute they stray from the path. I hope that makes my position very clear there are no bl -

Do You Hold a FAC? i dont have any horses now they were sent to Hounds, My Old Mare was 37. I was avid Foxhunter and i am not keen on the direction in which you THINK this is heading. My Family were/ are shooters not me tho and my brother and i WERE hare courses. Now i am just an average lurcher owner. It is not my intention to split shooters with the Hunting scene, when one should be sticking together I ask You this Dan, if your Land owner is security conscious how come ANY body is gettin close to the land? Would Your employer endorse using fire arms against intruders? However -

All of that only applies to where horses riders have a legal right to be and lets be quite clear the BASC code of practice is NOT the law. I don't know any keepers who have read or would give a f**k about what their code says so You will happly endorse such a behavour? in the vincinty of Horses? You really are trying to shoot your self in the foot there and where does it say DOES NOT HAVE LEGAL RIGHT? If a horse rider trespasses and I am shooting I am not stopping for them END of and to be honest who would be the irresponsible one me for continuing to shoot or the rider for -

may i suggest a few well placed blank shotgun bangers... I have to ask is there a bidle path close by? and your crazy idea re bangers etc, just might result in a serious accident possibly to Horse and Rider....... and You COULD be held responcible..... perhaps a friendly chat would go a lot further Of course your right... Just a joke which i hope everyone understood. Some signs clearly stating where riders cannot go would also cover your backs before taking further action I should imagine. Coupled with a friendly conversation as oposed to the stereotypical keepers attitude. -
