  2. same here on my samsung phone, you can see them if you click on the link, they just don't appear on the thread....even though they used to.
  3. I'd never breed dogs or ferrets to be honest pal, too many of both already out there. Going to give him benefit of the doubt with him being young still, but if it keeps happening I'll have a decision to make, need full confidence on your workers!
  4. maybe so, I'd always be wondering how he might have ended up if I don't give him a chance though bud. He's a big strong and quick bugger, I've got quite high hopes for him as a worker.....but obviously the biting thing needs to stop!es big strong and quick. hope you like digging mate..my smallest jill kills more often then any ferret I've ever had, shes a bugger for it!
  5. great thread, love that second to last pic!!! how do you get them all to do that??? my ferrets would be out and all over the place!
  6. hillarious how someone who has only put 65 posts on in seven years puts a post on complaining about how nobody has replied, you never reply to anything!!! have you got absolutely nothing to add to anything?? apart from moaning that nobody has replied, obviously. Like Steve says, the first reply pretty much sums it up.
  7. good service....but worrying how many broke at about a year old!!
  8. I really like the look of that third one down.

  10. Yeah could very well be that. When I got him I put him in with my spayed jill that was getting on a bit, she used to boss him around a fair bit and then one day I went to the hutch and she was flat out, died half an hour later but she had bite marks on her neck....not throat, bite marks similar to what jills get when being mated. So I got two new jills and basically he came into season and was hammering them so I had to seperate them. I guess it could be pent up frustration? I'm going to get him castrated soon so I can keep them all together again so fingers crossed he'll calm down after t
  11. nah, definitely not playing pal. I've had ferrets long enough to know when one's playing and when it means business. And re. trusting them, I've never had an issue with it at all. Every ferret I've ever had has been a bit nippy when young, but after a couple of weeks, a month tops, they've been 100% with me. Had the odd ones that would bite strangers, but not me....until now!!!

  13. A couple of times a day. He's not done anything like that for two months plus, the first time he did it I knew why he'd done it, but this time it was just bizarre, no obvious reason for it at all.
  14. Anyone ever had this, cos I haven't..... A couple of months ago I put a thread up about my hob, at the time he was only 7 months old and to cut a long story short, I took him out for the first time, he tried to run off, I had to run after him, dog got excited, ferret got scared and bit my hand. Well since then I've not taken him out, I decided to leave him until next season to mature a bit and see how he goes then. Simply because I'm not convinced he's not going to either run off, or go down a burrow and refuse to come out. So he's been exercised in the yard for a couple of hours a d
  15. yeah it's on one of the lampers vids, that was quite a big dog though, I think he says he got it to double up as a gundog rather than a busher. That beddie cross was only around 17 or 18 inches, just looked like a slightly tallers, racier beddie.
  16. Anyone using 3/4 terriers, and if so what are they like and got any pics? seen a 3/4 beddie 1/4 greyhound and it looked a decent dog for bushing, I'm just thinking it'd give it a bit of extra kick and the extra height from the greyhound would stop it going to ground. Just wondered if many people use any other 3/4 terriers in this way? or if anyone else has got a 3/4 beddie?
  17. can't find the pic, but it was along these lines....
  18. That bassett you've put up is a KC type isn't it though? The CA put some pics of bassett hounds up on their facebook page the other week, much more athletic than the example you've put up, I'll see if I can find it.
  19. lab was just pm'ing him asking for ginger to be included on the banned words list.
  20. this is clearly prejudice....against cool people, I'm reporting you all to Ian B....except bigdog, he's also cool.
  21. stand a baby near a gate and explain to the dog that it will get bollocked if it lands on the baby I started by encouraging mine to jump fairly low turnstiles at first just to build her confidence and then when she was fully grown did a couple of jumps over low gates and then normal gates. She jumps them fine now. Annoyingly though she won't jump a gate when chasing quarry.....fences etc. fine, but for some reason she just won't jump a gate unless I'm there to tell her to
