It's only cos his arse is like a welly top now.....his mates told him that it feels good to put gerbils up his ricker, he didn't realise that they meant take them out of the cage first ................you know JB told me when i head down to Cardiff in the next couple of weeks i should meet him at the "two sheep tied to a lampost".....i said "is that a pub?"......he said "No thats the f*****g leisure centre!!"........ :laugh:

I ordered one of those cree 1000 lumen torches off ebay a couple of weeks ago, do a search on here....a few people say they're pretty good, or at least good enough for lamping small fields and they're torches so they fit in coat pocket no problem. They come from China though so take a while to arrive, it cost £18 including delivery. I'll let you know if it's any good when it arrives.

I know what you mean....I wouldn't call it a no win situation though to be honest, a no win situation would be if I couldn't get out there. Even if it is a long day, as long as we're getting somewhere I'll be happy. I'm confident that my dog will end up a crackin ferreting/marking dog, and my jill does the business for me already.......worst case scenario is that the hob won't perform and will be left at home as a companion for my jill. No reason to get rid though, I just won't take him with me

Yeah she's exceeding expectations at the moment pal, high prey drive, good brain and very obedient....she seems to know what I want her to do, follows hand signals, walks to heel if I tell her to, and I only have to whisper go and she's off like a train. And if she's walking to heel and we see a rabbit running near a hedge and I tell her to wait, she does. But if I don't tell her to walk to heel she'll hunt up well. Perfect with cows and sheep, even cycling through a field of sheep that are running she'll stick by my side. Honestly, if you saw it you'd think I was a brilliant trainer of wo

Not exactly in the field, but I was target practicing with my air rifle in the garden after a shed load of whiskey (talk about irresponsible!!), held the scope to close to my eye and when it kicked back it cut my eye brow wide open. So five minutes after going in the garden to shoot, I was coming back in with blood pissing out of my face, my mrs thought I'd shot myself in the eye
