  3. just wondering if anyone else got a pup from this litter i got it from lowick near berwick just would like to see how the others are doing. mine is 26"tts and 60lb he is getting better at jumping but retrieve aint too good but going to keep on at it

  6. here is my saluki whippet gryhound with a tiny bit of bull she has only been ferreting a few times she is getting better but there is better dogs for ferreting but she has made a decent allrounder good stamina,nose,speed andquite brainy too
  7. i lie a smoth coat but a nice thick one to keep warm and reduce cuts and rips i have a bitch with a very thin coat she dont like the cold and rips too easy
  8. why not,??????? on the tele a working welsh collie had a mileage meter put on him his average day clocked up 65 miles mixed with the right whippet and a good labrador i see no problem in that at all do you ?????? theres a lot of dogs bred for it cant do it never mind a whippet x collie lab nearly as bad as a bull x on the fens not if its a good 1/4 bull i had a 1/4 bull bitch that done hair with ease day or night everyone i know has a good bull x or so they think and ive not seen a good one yet not on hare anyway maybe the odd few from a 1/4bull on the lamp but i very much doub

  10. nice dogs mate i remember seeing them advertised and i was quite interested,are the parents both first cross?i have got one now and his parents were both first cross and he is more heavier looking more like the bull x to be honest i would be happier if he threw more racier

  13. nice kennels mate im just thinking about building some off the same stamp i was thinking 11ft x 7ft is that about the size off yours? how much did blocks and concrete cost? i can get the rest and do them myself

  15. my 3/4 grey 1/4 saluki is ok but not the best out there for stamina but is very fast what is the 1/8 in the dog going to be? i wouldnd go any further than a 3/4 bred myself

  17. im after some allround boots have to be 100% waterproof will be used for lamping beating and general ratching around ive read a few topics on here and ive seen some lowa combat gtx for £140 or meindl burma pro mfs for £110 if im spending this much i want a good boot what will last and keep my feet dry anyone any advise on these boots or which one would best suit me thanks
  18. i was told walking on rough gravel type ground tightens feet but dont know how true it is my dogs had tight feet as pups and still have any pups ive seen with flat feet always seem to have them, id say buy one with tight feet and you will be sorted but if your dogs with flat feet have no problems it dont matter really
  19. i have a little bitch of this cross she is 1/4 saluki 1/8 bull 1/8 whippet 1/2 greyhound she has a heart of steel havent tested her on fox bull all other game is no problem i fell i bit more bull would be better for fox but with that it would decrease the abillity of catching the faster daytime stuff imo.but done everything ive wanted of her
  20. mine were 65pound were ok for 1 month then started leaking in and the stitching burst on the rabber toe cap on both boots what a load ov shite and waste of money there soft as shite

  22. my bitch use to retrieve live to hand until my mates jealous dog slipped the lead and started bothering and fighting with mine for the rabbit since that day she wont do it i think if you want the most out of your dog you should only go with you and your dog as bad habbits are easy to pick up and very hard to overcome or atleast until your dog is fully trained
  23. speed, stamina and has to have intelligence. has to be a well proven collie grey then you have all you need for a top class worker imo
