compare sites fella and try a few... I received an automatic renewal from van compare.. Was more exspensive that last year.. Bombed them off and went on that compare the market.com and got quotes £139.00 cheaper. And some companys will sometimes try and beat your best quote..

Those are strong words. Your dogs are bred for a particular job right? to fill the bag at night if Iam correct. If one failed but was handy for marking warrens with rabbits at home, Would you breed from it? I personally would not, ferreting is not my thing if it was i would have the right breeding stock.. But again me dog marks and finds game.. however if one of mine jacked or could not cut it I would give it to a boy if he soley ferreted and he was happy with the dog. And when its his dog if he wants to breed let him, I would not buy a pup lol. One mans stadards or pol

How can "the best happen to be a failed fox dog " ?? If it failed at what it ws bred for, but happens to catch rabbits, then it can't be the best ! "The Best" The best a what job catching a few rabbits. A failed coursing dog and bull crosses could be better.. One mans shite and that... My Friend has a dog bred out of "wolf" never made it on the fenn as a daytime dog. It smashes hares up here and takes a hell of a haul of mixed quarry on the lamp.. Pre ban of course. I would put a bit of bull, into my dogs if it ran well.. I would rather use 3/4 grey 1/4 bull than go to a pure grey.. What would be better on rabbits?? The 3/4 for sure... Its no great shakes catching a few rabbits, better having a all rounder you get more options depending which country your running of course. I like a mixed bag when i go out..

Seen some dogs that werent single handed fox dogs but they would be worth keeping because they were excellent catch dogs and could pull roe with style. I would breed that type into a rabbiting dog. Why intellegence, speed. It would have to improve what was already there.. Folk put saluki into rabbitng dogs failed or match dogs for the reason to get some of the atrobutes of them which are desirable feet. stamina, coat. Sure a match dog aint a good ferreting dog... Plus folk breeding first crosses of unproven stock thats not even had a chance to fail.. dogs that have never seen a ra

Nice one tomo.. Which dog was that?? Been dodgy up here the weather ground rock hard, black ice on the roads. Been sick as took two weeks holiday.. not had a drink since new year but will be out at weeknend, I just miss the mrs nagging for coming in late and with the lamping on hold its got to be done lol.

I once had the misfurtune to get off the metro at the wrong stop was bound for headinly got off burly park I think it was called that near leeds... I am from up north, Only time I see a coloured person is when I pick up my take away.. Was scary place big gangs of asian youths, I put me watch in me under crackers and me money in me sock, puffed me chest out, put me head down and walked like fook. Recon its miles on a clock for most.. wear and tear. If a dogs only catching a few bits and bobs it will and not getting pushed it will last longer.. Would say Andys hounds have been an exception to the rule. The Scotch fellas dogs ran till they where ten but not the numbers they used to could muster 20 odd rabbits tho.. My dog at seven has several broken toes, been grafted hard, I will be very suprized if thats still running at ten tho its not slowed up yet. Me other at 3 will be lucky if its alive next season... Woodgas dog blaze is a real cracker, I really enjoyed our day in Scotland With you.. This dog was better than a springer for retrieving shot rabbits in and out the jeep like lighting no fuse.. Marking rabbits, catching on the run real little dog to watch. Really biddable around the ferrets and nets. I personally aint seen a wee dog work to that standard. Hope your well col, not seen you post on line for a while. Steve. Like a we daytime jolly myself infact would choose it over a nights lamping now.
