    If I was a farmer it would be a puppy farm Making more than beef or diary I will pay what I think somethings worth. I would pay the asking price if I wanted it (and it was within my means).. Lurchers are cheaper than golf clubs

    Went to class, got the low down its five week course for £10 covering basics.. Sit, down and stand lol my dog will be top of the class already :laugh: Just going to attend for the social aspect.. There is follow on course but it for showing, not really obediance or feild trial stuff My pup enjoyed the experiance and its got to help with meeting other dogs and handlers..

    Aye other than the exposure to a mass of dogs in a controlled environment, I can’t see many more benefits.. The little dogs doing all the basics and walking well on the leash.. Wonder how many working lurchers would be there not many lol will be unruly poms or shitzues

    Has anyone on here attended organised puppy training classes?? I for one have never attended any and my dogs have come up to scratch. I have been considering going with my young pup I have on at the moment, as I recon it won’t do any harm with socialising with all sorts of different dogs. Obviously Classes may vary but what’s the general agenda?? Lead walking, sitting and staying?? I might go along and have a look see what it all about… Anybody else gave them a crack ??

    Keep trying fella.. Practice stay commands away from game.. Go back to ferreting, ferret a few with no nets. give the dog the stay command sitting a few feet off the holes not directly over them.. Its to keen and diving in when its hearing action.. once its running a few, try a few nets again with the dog just off them.. Is there other dogs on the sence ?? My own used to be a pain with other dogs about edging forward wanting in there first.. Dont loose your rag with the dog if its not working out, just go back to basics or hold the dog by the collar on the day rather than s

    When theres not rabbits do folk not think about laying off them ?? You need some breeding stock.. Fair play if its with in walking distance and every man and his dog is on there.. But if you have sole rights to the land whats the point in walking five miles for one slip ?? In that time you could drive to more fruitful ground.. I would not think twice about driving 120 mile round trip. I think its mad. Folk have been moaning about poor numbers for months on here, but are still lamping ferreting and shooting every last one they see. Its not rock science

    I would be careful it could be classed going equipped.. If you dont have a reasonable excuse and there is some suspision that a crime has be commited or about to be commited.. Is it worth the hassle ?? Do what you have to do and keep your head down. I know a couple of lads that went for a walk with a net and lost it and got a fine for there trouble..

    I have been to Germany a few times (not with dogs) was hare and roe bouncing all over.. Was in Rural Fliensburg Drove through france and belgium seen bit of wildlife in Belgium france was more motorway so never seen as much.
