    Be intresting how they turn out... Be intresting if they turn out toppers, breeding with running dog.. Woodga had a terrier that had some merle in the mix, what a dog for the rabbits game, marking sets and walls. Retrieved like a gundog

They reconed some animal crime had taken place and they cleaned you out.. Would SACS insurance cover you ?? I read the site but I am a bit thick Or if your dog chased a none target specises accidently and a member of the public reported you to police , and incident took place on permission ??

    What insurance would cover members for incidents like this ?? Or would they not ??? I keep running dogs and work within law but if something went tits up would any insurance help me ??

    I got 07 in summer for a little bit more cash but it had lower miles less than 70k and its 6 speed gear box 1.3 diesel cheap to run.. and loads of room for road kill I like the a side loading type of van but the astra dose fine for me..

    Lads f****d better just face facts.. No one one here raising 10k.. This is one reason prehaps people who take part in feild sports should have some form of insurance ?? I dont myself but would you be covered for such instances ?? Hope it comes good, sadly doubt it will ..

    I have Astra its not small what you going out with a pack of fox hounds :laugh: Loads of room Rear doors no good if you want to lamp compared to a old escort or combo.. Astra gear boxes are dodgy on newer models had to replace a bearing kit on a 07 its a common fault with vauxhall on the mireva and vectras etc.

    Personally there no good to me.. I dont enjoy ferreting with out a dog and its solid here.. So I just have a lie in and hope the sun can penatrate the iron like ground by mid afternnoon so I can at least have a walk and a skuttle up on something.. If its just a light sprinkling of frost first mm or so its fine but not better than if it was 6 degrees IMHO..

    I am in Chalkies Baffled bracket lol.. So in sence they "can" be indepent type of hounds and wont crave attention like a gundog.. Bond and calm attitude aid the traiing and its not imposable to get them doing basic tasks carring,retrieving and recall .. I as long a dog retrieves and comes back it would be good enough for my standard :laugh: Got a little pup with saluki in it now not a mass of saluki blood.. Its seems as any other pup would at a young age, dose seem calm and sensible and its still not shit in the house yet so its going well so far

    I have not trained a Saluki type ever.. Have seen pals with 1/4 in there dogs and to me they were as abiediant and well trained as any average lurcher.. What is so different a Saluki saturated type ?? They sulk if you are heavy handed and shout at them ?? Like I say I aint had any dealings with one but how would people recommend on training one and fetching it on?? Serious question.. I have considered going for a Well saturated saluki type put to cur type of dog in the future.

    Looking well Vin I was going to try mine but its killed two ferrets already.. Gonna hold mine off a bit and just enter to fox.. Rabbits are for fannys

    Yeah still have it, bought a Sportdog collar.. only used it few times.. Kept it on for a while tho just in case but never used it again.. It really is water proof this same stupid dog went across a river wearing it for a swan never wanted to sap her in the water tho for safety reasons. I really tried with mine for almost two months before I got the collar.. I even had a friend try the dog a few times.

    No sorted it with shock collar.. But i did try over several weeks before going down that route. This dog took a flogging and would pile back in, Straight away. It was just wagging its tail, dog was f*****g mental Worst of it it knew it was wrong.. I had it to a point where it would walk to heal of the lead but was dying to wack one.. If it ran a rabbit and missed it would chase a sheep on the way back. Or jumping a gate it was just that bit in front it would take off on them.. To muck of a risk but the collar cured it 100% , it had me cracking up
