  1. Hi, I now live in Perth in WA and recently tried soft plastics off a boat for the first time at the Abrolhos Islands and caught % of my fish on a 7 inch orange shad with a 1.5 ounce jig head. Dhufish, Snapper, Coral Trout, Emporers, Gropers all seemed to love them. We fished in between 20 - 50 mts of water and I was using a 7ft 6-10kg class ugly stick loaded with 30lb braid with a 50lb mono leader. I was amazed how successful the plastic was and I'm just curious if anyone uses them back in the UK? I can imagine they would work well for sporting species like pike as well as poll
  2. Summers great down there for the mackeral on feathers or float etc. On the southern (Torquay) side you can get some klonking mullet on the usual gear. Haven't done much down there in the winter months buts its prob one of the best spots down that way. ATB Kerryb

  5. Hi, Any of you lads/ladies got any mullet fishing photos to put up on here? i am living in OZ now so i am missing the summer mullet fishing. My PB is 5lb 8oz from the Tamar river in Plymouth. 6. Any fellas on this site live near Perth? Got a pitty x bullmastiff pup who i am planning to use on pigs. 100% genuine new to pigs but not new to hunting. ATB kerryb
  7. Cracking lurcher mate and I like the brown terrier, what's its breeding?
  8. My new pup is a first cross pit x bull mastiff which I plan to try out on wild pigs next year. She's kennelled with a a male blue heeler and both are 5 months old. When they play which at times gets quite rough she tends to get hold or his back leg working her way onto his genitals. Question is has anyone else had pups do this and is it potentially as dangerous as it looks. Obviously she is not biting that hard but it makes my eyes water at times? ATB kerryb
  9. Chunky looking dog mate ATB with him, always liked the look of Glens built like brick shithouses.
  10. Maybe give the pups a year or so and see how they get on, proofs in the pudding etc! I like the look of EBTs - always have, but I know most working strong dogs today are the US type for obvious reasons. But lets just see how they get on and give them a chance.
