    Finally managed a quick look out this morning with the dogs, the ground was like concrete first thing this morning so we started with the longnet around a patch of bramble and just let the dogs run them in. This little patch produced ten rabbits in about half an hour. I moved onto the small three and four hole buries which run along the dykes which normally hold one or two rabbits, here Ted caught two more and I dug down to two...................14 rabbits.     Its the last day of the shooting season and trying to keep out the way of the shoot we ferreted around a small pond and what was left of an old wind break. Today was a casual affair as we are out again tomorrow with the dogs weather permitting, so numbers were not important. Early frost turned into a beautiful day, cold but very enjoyable................... The Team........ A few hitting the nets....... The escapee................. The beaters......     I friend of mine as a litter of pups, the dam is a Bedlington x Greyhound and the sire a wellbred Whippet (Sooty Sam lines). Pups have been declawed and will be ready January 30th. They are beautiful looking pups with mixture of rough and smooth coats. £100 each and are situated in north Kent................................PM me for a contact number.
