    Well funny you should say that, when me and Tony had a day out with TOMO the end of day shot looked like the valentine's day massacre and he wasn't impressed

    I had a wasted day yesterday did nothing as I am off work, me old war wound playing me up so today me and Tony headed for the orchards for a morning's pugging. Was hard to find somewhere out the way at first as the picking is in full swing but we decided on a couple of open buries and a portion of hedgerow for today's sport.............................Willow came too and we managed 17 Underground chicken's.

    Its a old Canon 20D with a cheapo 70-300 canon lense, its shoots 5fps and its like taking picture's with a machine gun compared to me old Nikon...........................

    Me and Tony had a couple of hours down the orchard this morning but was very limited where we could ferret because its still quite overgrown and only the plums and cherries have been picked so far. Couldn't get into it today as the weather is still too warm and I don't really enjoy it as much. We only managed 3 rabbits, one purse netted, one dug to and the other was caught by the terrier. We drank all our coffee, ate all the rolls and then called it a day.........................roll on the colder weather.

    Had another half day out this morning with Tony ferreting the bank we started last week and to be honest its still too warm for our liking but it shows the farmer we are keen. Took Willow along again today to run and hold the rabbits in the net but she made some quite good solo catches which added to the bag. We haven't started ferreting seriously yet, still waiting for the colder weather and the Mixy to pass...........................9 rabbits in total Ted was sulking this morning when I left him indoors.
