  2. great shooting guys, not that would have expected anything less!! Darryl
  3. Nice shooting mate, just wondering why you didnt do a head shot on the pigeon?? Darryl
  4. how do mate! As previously said, I'd say you need a lot more practice on paper before shooting at live quarry mate. Yes it can be frustrating, but you owe it to the bird/animal to give it as quick a death as possible which more than often means a clean headshot. By testing on paper you will not only improve your shooting but will find out which pellet suits your rifle. If you have a look here http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/181320-pellet-swap-opportunity/ you might be able to source some different pellets to try till you find the ones that suit the rifle. The rest is up to you,
  5. My guess will be sand/ grit igniting whatever small shards of metal are in the barrel. Give ya mags a good wash in warm soapy water and spray with light coat of WD40. I store mine in an old money bag mate Darryl
  6. very hard to explain mate....dont think it will be the lead as it's non combustible, try giving it a clean in case the barrel has become contaminated Thats all I can suggest anyway.....It wil be interesting if you do find the problem mate Good luck Darryl
  7. Howdo folks On my travels again with work yesterday I ended up delivering next door to a Stables. Well....it would be rude not to pop in and have a word wouldnt it? I'm glad I did, they said they dont have much of a rabbit problem(that they know of) but they have rats under the kennels. Anyway I left them a card and arranged to pop in today to have a word and suss out the boundaries etc, but as it happened wor kid was working in that area in the afternoon so he went in and got the info we need and the permission form signed instantly. It looks like a major rat infestation judging by what
