    Hi Nick Cheers mate! You hit the nail on the head. Not storing it in the gunslip allows the air to circulate round it instead of festering in an enclosed space. However dont take it for gospel. A lot if people store theirs in a gunslip with no problems. So as long as its dried and oiled properly after use you shouldn't have any problems. Darryl

    Haha, shall we get tshirts made up that say "THL LADS ON TOUR?" Think this has potential for development, but I also think that it would rely on members being willing to travel too, not just attend their local ones. As I already mentioned, the cost of fuel seems likely to be the most prohibitive thing, but if a few guys could get together and share the cost it shouldn't be too bad.     I was talking to Davy about thus at the meet mate. Davy & Chaz have all the HFT stuff and suggested it would be like a THL on tour whereas meets could be held at different parts of the country.     I'm in Ashington too mate.....All the land from there down towards Longhirst & Ellington belongs to Alcan Farms and you've got no chance getting permission with them. I've got a wee bit behind there by the opencast via verbal permission but hardly ever go due to frequent dog walkers etc, hence why me n wor kid travel miles away. To be honest from what I've seen round this area its full of people who dont give a shit and go anyway no matter what or who it belongs to and whether they have permission or not! Only thing I can suggest is try further afield the same as we had to! Darryl

    I'd do what Tony said ASAP! seems to me line they're just messing you round mate so for the inconvenience they caused you I think it's about time you caused them some! Try one last phonecall and "threaten" them with TS action if you dont get any satisfaction. You could maybe tell them that you've posted your experiences with them on here viewed by a LOT of people It may help it may not but anything is worth a try!! Good luck Darryl

    Howdy folks, The wind has finally dropped and me n wor kid have the chance to get out the house and over to our Cumbria permission. We haven't been for a couple of months due to the lambing season but were back on the prowl now. We've been on the plot for about an hour and 3/4 and I've got 1 and lost one in the long undergrowth. Wor kid has 2... Will try and keep you posted as the night/day goes on but signal here pretty crap.... Darryl

    Cheers for the comments.... They were all taken with my "big" camera, which doesnt go on ANY mooches due to the cost of the gear. I'm by no means a professional but love the hobby. Me n a pal do a few weddings too. I'm loving the idea though Darryl
