  1. Think that could be it mate..... Caught her trying to drag the other into the nest on lockup tonight.... Think you may have hit the nail on the head! Darryl
  2. I still think you should ask if I can get special permission..... or at least sneak me in the back and I'll chuck the ghillie suit on.....lmao! Nice going mate! Darryl
  3. Took her out of season with the Jill jab about 12-14 weeks ago and she's been fine... She's fine with the other one (her sister) too.... Only just started happening today Appreciate all the comments and advice guys cheers! Darryl
  4. small video.... as you can see she has a small playful nip when I put my hand in but she's always been like that.... then she licks the hand on handling....which again is "normal" buy watch when I lift my sleeve slightly... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFX7p7EMeU4 Darryl

  6. not so much when being picked up, she's fine, I can handle her, its the fact she's always looking for somewhere to have a go..... if I was hurting her surely she'd try and bite my fingers first or have a go before I try and handle her. I've just been in and give them a full rabbit to share and I had meat/blood on my hands and she wasnt interested, she did however try and latch on under my jumper sleeve.... It's definately a weird one! If she's still the same I'll try and video it tomorrow as I'm getting ready to go for a meal soon Darryl

  8. As in the title guys....please copy & paste the list with your name on the bottom if you're DEFINATELY attending. Apart from those with genuine reasons at the last meet there were a lot of people who were on the list and didnt turn up causing an increased cost for the HFT/landowner. Cheers guys and look forward to seeing you all..... If a mod could sticky that would be great! Darryl 1. DavyT63 2. Lighthunter 3. Marksman 4. Festa 5. Shannon 6. Millsy44 7. Smoggyadam 8. 10. well done....try and remember a camera next time mate....we like to see pics Darryl
  11. THats whats puzzling mate...99% of the time I'm in with a Tshirt, I normally handle them and cradle them in the clasp of my arms where they both have "a bit lick" and a run up n down the arms/shoulders but it was just the way she shot up my arm and latched straight on without so much as a lick, sniff or anything... been back in a few times and she seems to have settled a bit but it still seems as though she's still looking for a way round to latch on again Darryl
  12. brought her out about 12 weeks ago mate Darryl
  13. Cheers John I'll definately try it should the need arise! Here's a new one for you..... I've put a long sleeved jumper on, been back in and she's no problem, taking food off me without any problems, she's always had a lick of my hands very strange! Darryl
  14. nope...all seems well with her..... just tried again and she's trying to scramble up my arm grabbing with claws and trying to latch on..... I'm quite well experienced with ferrets but never had it happen before Darryl
  15. How do folks.... Strangest thing happened to me today, my 2 1/2yr old albino ferret turned on me, latched on to my arm and I couldnt get her off. I had to more or less suffocate her before she let go. Put her back in the cage, went in with some food and she was eating it off my hand no problems but as soon as I try and pick her up she has a try. Any ideas??.....she's been very tame until now and it's the first time I've had one do this. cheers Darryl
