    Well guys.... I'd like to be the first to say a BIG thanks to Davy (DavyT63) and Chas (Lighthunter) for yet another cracking event and for me, wor kid and Shannon was well worth the 5 hr drive down,even if the weather was a bit hit & miss!! It was great to see the guys I spoke to from the last one again and also some new faces and no doubt I'll see you all again. Roll on the next one!!     This was kindly donated to be by a guy off Facebook who didnt have the time/spare cash to refurb it so I thought I'd have a go at one of these since the Relum turned out ok...... Initial stripdown reveald a bust breech seal, piston washer & seal had disintegrated, sear spring snapped and the mainspring was well worn, the rest of the components were in pretty good nick and just need degreasing and polishing..... Photos so far.... The way it arrived after initial stripdown Starting the restoration More to be added soon...... Darryl

    Keep them coming, by the way bigmac97k is a very good friend of mine, he also enjoys shooting on this permission ! lol been shooting on it for years mate thats how i no the brothers grim are not the only ones on there but i have been away from shooting for a bit for the last time....he's not my brother...lol

    what he said mate.... Get yourself some letters/permission slips knocked up and get out there and spend some time knocking on doors. Dress smart casual and always be polite. Maybe even ask if they need a hand doing odd jobs around the place in exchange for some land. Even suggest they give you a trial and if theyre not happy send you on your way But above all, keep trying! Darryl

Darryl That was awful grown up of you and your bro to cry on here first when you seen the guy face to face but didn't mention it. Says it all really. that doesnt say fook all.... was pissed off mate as you probably would be if I came to your permission for a shoot then decided to ask for my own permission afterwards without your knowledge, but put the shoe on the other foot....he knew we had permission there why didn't he mention he was going to ask get permission on the same plot??

    As I have stated on my reply - They still have permission for that land, as do I , sorry if anyone thinks this is out of order, but I dont, I also have permission not far away from the permission in question, And I would not go on like a 5 year old if they or anyone else was to aquire permission to shoot on that land (as many others do), think you all need to grow up a bit. you dont get the point mate.....
