Great write up and a great nights shooting by the look of it guys.
Was that spread between the old and new permissions???
If you'd have said you's were going out me and Festa would have tagged along, presuming we were invited of course
Darryl

Canny write up mate.... I'll let you be in charge of the camera next time
We'll put another big dent in the rest though mate..... 31 out of 1 field aint bad though!!
Darryl
Only thing to do mate is keep knocking I'm afraid.
If your age is the main thing going against you try taking an adult with you, other than that I'm out of ideas
Darryl
I hope he doesnt mind me saying, but I've just bought a load from a guy on here.....Chris aka ferreterni
Top quality hand knitted nets and a cracking guy to deal with if I do say so myself
I'll definately be ordering more from him when the time comes
Drop him a PM see if he can do anything for you

I have both a white and poley jill and to be honest dont think there's much difference in working them apart from the poley tends to be a little slower at first entering the warrens but once she gets a whiff she's away.
They also tend not to disturb the nets as much unless the locator collar gets caught
Darryl
Nice write up mate!
Just rub it in about the warm weather there mate why don't you...
Love the last pic of the terrier "smiling" at the camera as if to say "Look what I caught"
Darryl
hi rob
depnds on how many ferrets your feeding with a hole rabbit, as if your feeding a hole rabbit guts in, in mid summer there is a risk of the meat going off before be eaten and this mite cause food poisoning to out furry friends
so your idea of freeze and thaw is a good one if ferrets are not dinning together
i always gut in summer but normaly feed a hole rabbit in winter between 2 ferrets and have no problems
hope this helps you a little
cheers colin
Are you haveing a laugh! Food poisoning..............
no why ??? imo in the summer if a rabbit is left
cheers kay you should of seen her when she was asleep cuddled in the the rabbits i think shes getting the wrong end of the stick rabbits mean dinner not teddy bear
atb gary
Well think of it like this , she is respecting the quarrey , not chewing it up what is it a border ?
aye she's a border cross mate
got her from one of the lads off here from good working stock, which is already starting to show judging by her latest performances.
Seems like she's gonna be a cracking little worker
Darryl
Cheers Si mate!
Problem with the rifle was magazine failure, as pretty common problem with BSA mags as I have been reading, but all sorted now, mag stripped, cleaned and oiled, and will be getting checked EVERY trip now..... ;)
Darryl
Another great writeup mate!
Definately not my night though, when I have a bad night I make sure I do it properly. Lol
needless to say the rifle is repaired and I'm currently on the lookout for a new lamp
roll on the next visit
Darryl
Great write up wor kid...
You forgot this was out of just half of one field, we still got loads to do up there
definately looking forward to the next time.
I'll take a proper camera and get some proper pics
Darryl
Good luck LOL
I think every farm in Northumberland has people on.
Aye....good luck mate!
Most of them are covered by shoot syndicates hence the reason I got rid of my gear last time, Me n wor kid are travelling into Tynedale and Cumbria for my permissions now, 120 mile ish round trip, but needs must if you wanna get out mate.
Would have invited you along to one of mine mate but only got permission for me n wor kid(farmers wishes!)
