    I would have a gunsmith take a look at it. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the gun, or no other way to remove the bullets. I'd just prefer to have her checked over before I'd consider shooting it again to be on the safe side.

    Presumably there were UK DEFRA (or whomever) vets at Ramsgate. What I want to know is how a "charity" worker get's to over rule a professional vet and experienced stock people on animal welfare issues? Even one of their own describes the actions at the port as "f*****g stupid". It is the decisions taken by those "charity" workers that led to the situation in the article. The case should be made that that "charity" is incompetent and poisoned by a political agenda to the effect it does harm, and no power transfer is warranted.     It certainly wouldn't be for me. All depends on what might go on film and how that might get spun. Not necessarily spun by her, but by "others" who don't agree with it. Particularly the part about shooting them on the run and finishing them off after, I can see letters into national and local rags by the usual suspects. Hiding your face, reg etc, will also work against you.

    Hey John, how long can you store the cider for? Store it? Ah bless your innocence I don't know really, I leave it in the bottles for 4 months after fermentation, then drink. Some age 6 months, no idea how long it'd keep for though.

    36 gram BB's. 40 yards would be normal range but you'll knock him 10 or 20 yards farther than that if you really have to. Best to wait until he's side on to you, more vitals, less bones. Point towards the shoulder and remember to keep swinging as you shoot, if you don't keep the swing going as you shoot you'll hit him behind and he'll wobble off on you. Don't shoot at him going away, or coming right at you - unless he's right in front of you. Fox lamping with shotgun is great craic

    Maybe you need fresh batteries or a good recharge Back to the HID for a moment, from last night: I had some issues with the HID lamp, flickering, making some noise, and turning itself off. However I'm trying to get to the bottom of that at the moment, it hasn't put a foot wrong otherwise. It could well be battery related, I just don't know at this stage, waiting to hear back from the guy I bought it off.

    I wouldn't be so sure of that 75W line. The HID I have is 30w, farthest fox I've shot with it so far was 180. There are a lot of 35w and 55w HID's on the go as well. I keep my HID on, but I kept all my other lights on as well, so makes no odds to me.
