    3/8ths x 5/8ths male bull/grey, 26" 12 months old racey type, totally unspoilt, had a couple of day time bunnies whilst out mooching, jumping is coming on well, recall is quite good though he will try an throw a deaf un if he thinks he can get away with it. Good with other dogs,quiet in kennel except when his feed is due. Will live in or out, he is ok around livestock when Im with him, but needs verbal command to keep under control, hes still just a big daft pup at times, but he is only 12 months old.     thats what i used and i also put wound powder on the mange area, its lucky here in england we not likely to get sarcoptic mange, thats the bad one "its lucky here in england we not likely to get sarcoptic mange" Cant say Ive heard that before mate, Ive personally had dogs with sarcoptic mange and have seen it on other dogs an all.

    Interesting post that mate, do u add any biscuit to the prepared mix or feed as is? and what are the dogs stools like? I find my lurchers get a bit loose on the raw meat.

    Nice bitch Dunkanon but who the feck docked its tail?? Hello mate, and aye your right its a bloody mess isnt it, believe it or not thats what happens when you let a vet do the job. The vet did a litter of blacks of some fellas round here he cut the whole tails off Bloody useless, if you want something done right best off doing it yourself eh.

    For me it depends on the circumstances, for instance if its on permission and culling the fox is whats required then thats what gets done, if its elsewhere and sometimes it is, then it depends on the condition of the quarry at the end of the dig, good healthy specimen and not badly damaged then off they go, if however its a sickly mangey creature then its culled also.

    never bred a dog ever, but I do know lads that have bred dogs and have stock off of dogs that in my eyes failed on the job. Their choice but wouldnt be mine.

    That's a fine looking dog mate I'm hoping if I get a half x it be a bit shorter for cover work cheers, the sire of him was the halfx an he was a shade taller than my 3/4 bred dog.

    Hes a pic of him altho this was taken about a yr ago. Hes made just shy of 22" to the shoulder.

    Have a 3/4 whip 1/4 beddy, an hes come on a treat, caught day an night, but mostly use him day time, work any cover, brambles,thorn bushes etc, will mark holes,quiet in kennel, very biddable, eager to please and 100% with the kids, mainly a rabbiting dog, but has caught bigger things. couldnt ask for more really.
