Like almost everything, there is already laws to cover this type of thing......it's assault, child abuse etc etc......we don't need any more because they will only be mis-used as all these things tend to be. I remember seeing blokes in the pub on a Sunday lunch time, with young kids in tow, and these blokes would be getting pissed and snorting coke off the bar while the kids stood watching with a lemonade in their hand........and guess what, when the kids grew into adults they turned into bits of shit as well !! If government want to deal with something, deal with that type of mindset

I will often say "sorry" to my kids, as in "I could/should have been/acted/done better so I'm sorry about that".......that how I conduct myself and that what I expect from them. So far, so good.......I'm sure there will be new and interesting challenges to come

As all us parents know, there is no manual so you do the best job you can. Everyone has something they think is important, in my case it has been to be completely honest with my kids about my past, my mistakes and my failings (mental maturity appropriate of course)........that way they know why I'm saying what I'm saying. When my old man was a kid in the late 20s early 30s he was scared of the dark so my grandads cure was to tie him to a gatepost all night when they were down hopping in Kent..........can you imagine that?.....seems unbelievable in today's world.

Likewise mate.....my old man was bought up very harsh and yet never laid a hand to me. I can count the number of times I have felt the need to smack my kids backside on one hand over 15 years and that for all 4 of them. The only time I have done it is when they were nasty rude (as opposed to cheeky rude) to their mother, once to the mother in law and a couple of times when they were throwing their weight about (all part of growing up I know).......that's my girls 14 & 15 My older boy I have never had to smack ever in 10 years........a couple of incidents where he has had a serious bollo

Obviously I have kids so they get attached to the animals as we all do but we have squared that circle by making sure they have a good free range life.......we enjoy them, we look after them and when the time comes they look after us. Most of my animals end up tame so when it's time to go to slaughter, there's no stress.....they follow me into the trailer happy as Larry, follow me out and go in the small producers pen at the slaughter house and stand there happy as Larry. They don't know a thing about it.

I don't know what anyone else thinks mate but I would advise not to get too many to start with, a couple will yield up enough meat to feed a family for months. Learn all their funny traits and all the various methods they have to escape and it's easier to catch 2 than it is 6 when they decide to go for an explore. Get them used to you with a bucket of grub and leading them around is easy. Pigs are bright and good fun and they are like naughty children......so start small would be my advice. did you have any experience wilf before you moved to ireland No mate, I have made loads of mistake

used to go to ireland 3/4 times a year to visit family.i was only about 8 till 15 and i couldn't believe the kids would swear infront of there parents like it was nothing and they used to stay up til midnight on school days every day. Nothing's changed you will be glad to know !

Anyone that has ever been round a film set will tell you some of these birds are f***ing headcases.......especially the extras, you can tell some of them would do almost anything if they thought it may give them a chance to get noticed. They are almost all, inevitably, f***ing brainless morons.

Shallow load of fuckers, first Weinstein and now that utter f***ing square David Blaine (to be honest I would be slightly surprised if he had a good f**k in him!)..........these people were willing to be degraded, stay silent and put others safety at risk in favour of their so called "career" and now they all want to crawl out of the woodwork. They should be nicked themselves for putting others at risk.......I find it very hard to sympathise. what part of sucking off some fat Jew for a job sits right with anyone in their right mind?........pricks !

Look, I'm no Sir General Mike Jackson but all the lads I have met don't seem like the types to want of need anyone's sympathy.......they are more your professional types who are keen to do their job wherever, whenever and for any reason because it's what they do. In the very limited company I have kept they just want to go soldiering and inflict death and destruction in the most splendid and profesional way. Red on, as they say.
