In all seriousness if you are 17 stone at 33 after a decent running career then, unless you are a man mountain of about 6’6” and built like a brick shit house, you are a mess. Im 6’1” and 16 stone and I’m over weight, I’m your bog standard out of shape bloke approaching 50......at 33 I was still playing football at a decent-ish level and about 14 stone.

Mate, I always respect your opinions because you are an educated chap but honestly, I’m not buying that having the fire on for a few hours is worse than 9000 cars driving past your window every day.......just not buying it mate. In my old area, I’d have been exposed to probably the best part of a MILLION traffic movements within a 7 mile radius EVERY single day (that’s without the oil refinery or any other industry down the road).....nobody is going to tell me that a well ventilated open or enclosed hardwood or peat fire is worse than that.

Honestly mate, where I used to live you’d be better off sealing the house and smoking 20 bensons than going for a walk. the planet burned wood for how many hundreds of thousands of years and I reckon the air quality was a million times better?......it’s only in very recent history that we started burning fossil fuels and the jobs f****d (scientifically speaking) That don’t take any working out at all, it’s just obvious pal.

Realistically are solid fuel heating systems a major health concern ?......I don’t bloody think so, the air quality in my old area is in the top 10 worst in Britain and nobody uses solid fuel heating at all.

Wouldn’t want the shares in petro-chemical companies to drop too much old boy or that rather handy position on the board to become non existent now would we i am self sufficient in heating fuel and completely off grid in that regard.....cost me £8 a week when I work it out. There won’t be many free lunches at Shell Mex house if its easy to do it on your own for £8 a week

Well, I know I’m demoralised.....I literally wouldn’t believe anything from a politician even if they held it in front of my face. I have zero respect for them and zero respect for the people that still believe in them. I like Trump, not because he is a bastion of political morality or even a man of ability.......I just love the fact he is f***ing shit up. This is a bit howling actually, anyway...... Years ago there was a small group of lads used to hang about and this one night one of them says to the group about some lad who has been taking a few liberties and needs squared off. The gig is that the liberty taker is holding a party that night and that is where he can be found. Another one was on this site. There was a bloke used to come on here and do all these really bizarre, nonsensical football predictions and tactical analysis type posts. Talking about non existent rivalry’s between clubs that had no type of bond whatsoever. He would make up all these fantasy’s about players and managers the club he follows should employ even though they ain’t got a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. I used to feel really sorry for the poor sod because everyone just made fun of him.
