See the problem I’m having is with this word “un-vetted” and what I’m saying to you is that it like agreeing to step into a cage of tigers because the zoo people have made sure all the nastiest tigers have been kept out.......they are still going to eat you because it’s in their deepest nature to do it .

See this is the bit English people don’t get (and I’m not looking to get into a load of bollocks with you) but because we are f****d don’t mean everyone is. Ill give you an example..... They tried to bring in water charges here 5 years ago, you know, like our water rates in the UK. Well, everyone said “You can feck off, it falls out the sky for nothing and we ain’t paying” They tried the normal sending court summons to people and all that, they went to court in groups to support each other and still refused to pay......people were wiping their arse on the bills and posting

I’m not going to presume to tell you what you should be thinking about the state of your own country mate, all I will say is that you have eyes on it early by the sound of it and that can only be a good thing.

In my very limited experience the trouble with us English is that we firmly believe everywhere is like England........and, it isn’t ! We have this perverse idea that because we are swallowing shit by the truck load it must mean everyone is doing it.....and it’s simply not true I’m sorry to inform you. The old chestnut is “same everywhere” but it isn’t......nowhere close.

Can’t answer that mate, as I said, it was only a guess/opinion of mine.....I’m not saying it’s 100% the case. If you listen to the Gealic radio stations then you realise they have their own music, even non Gealic prefer their own brand of country & western and traditional music. You get young people in their teens and 20s etc still going to these type of music events, dancing country and western and traditional stuff.....can you imagine that in England ? Just my humble opinion but Ireland has one massive advantage that’s the key to it all......it’s language ! Its language is an ever present link to its cultural past, it’s language puts thousands of years of history, folklore, legends and culture into the here and now......every single day and at every age group. All the time it retains its language it retains its culture, it remembers who and what it is........we don’t have that in England and they took our culture away and we didn’t care less, the link was too easily broken.

The thing I don’t get is that the GAA is intrinsically linked with Irish Nationalism, they are almost one and the same beast. The GAA is literally the symbol of Ireland’s fight for independence. Over here, GAA is a religion ! So what this extremely rich and extremely well loved and well supported symbol of catholic ireland is doing letting a load of filthy pakis use it’s flagship stadium for to worship and promote a culture that has f**k all to do with Ireland is absolutely beyond me ! However, I won’t sicken of mentioning it to all the Gealic heads ! Lol

To be fair mate, for things like school governors, parish council and stuff like that, nobody is looking in all the nooks and crannies and if you have been a fairly decent type for long enough then it’s not a problem. But let me tell you one thing, put yourself in the limelight and start talking about race and the issues surrounding race then they are going to come looking.......they will forensically disect your life and the lives of everyone you have ever known.

Here’s the thing, you ain’t aloud to play football or any non Gaelic sport on that pitch or indeed any GAA club pitch. Clubs get in deep shit if they allow any non Gaelic activity on their pitch.....they don’t even like you kicking a ball about messing around at a Gealic ground. Go figure huh

Exactly that, my brother in law used to throw a brick through the only Indian restaurant in towns window almost every week.......the glazing bloke must have bought a house out of it ! Lol Now there’s more take a ways than shops ! Lol Direct and brutal may be satisfying but it’s too easy to deal with and don’t ultimately achieve much.
