  1. What’s that saying, don’t judge everyone by yourself ?
  2. America has 602,000 dead bodies in the morgue thanks to COVID......just in case anyone was forgetting !
  3. I genuinely hope that don’t end up the case mate ?
  4. I wonder what our generations legacy will be ? Will we be remembered as the generation that built things ? That cared for things ? That made solid foundations for those that followed ? Will we be remembered as moral people ?......good people ? Have we been stewards of our birthright ? Or, will we be remembered as the generation that allowed our capital city to be over taken by 3rd world parasites ? The generation that promoted extinction of our blood line? The generation that said “Don’t care about anything because it’s stupid” If only we cou
  5. Well, like many lads mate, I think you just have to be as happy as it’s possible to be.......we can’t think about legacy because a society that ponders legacy isn’t what we have. ?
  6. There you have it, don’t feel bad mate, there’s millions and millions with exactly the same thought process. As a people we have taken a 70 year kicking and the vast majority have simply given up hope. Many of those who retained some hope, not even hope, more a dream that we could once again be some semblance of the nation we once were have come to the realisation that it can never come true with that tsunami of apathy across the nation. Some lads still dream that dream but lads like me just bugged out, the apathy infected us too. We are all as bad as each other in that res
  7. You don’t need to plan and execute an assault on an enemy position because the prime minster can sit at a table and talk it out.....and yet you have done it probably many times and not once were the people giving the orders leading the assault......it’s had to be done and you did it, you didn’t ask why, you did your duty. Im not trying to convince you mate as I’m sure your not trying to convince me, it’s just an interesting discussion ?
  8. Forgot to take it off ?
  9. But that’s not the same scenario is it mate. If it was for a greater benefit then I’d stay dressed and deal with it.....same as you would and no doubt have done in many situations throughout your life......many more than most I’d hazard a guess.
  10. I get it mate but personally, I’m not privy to what the worlds greatest minds and global elites are saying. To a simple Herbert like me, throwing a bit of a cover over my trap on the off chance it may benefit my wider world costs me absolutely f**k all in time or trouble and if it gives one bit of comfort to someone in my community that I will never, ever know about then it was worth it. Zero cost to me but seen to be doing my bit for those around me. Team ethic pal
  11. I disagree with you mate, I think it has everything to do with it. Never again will we be the nation of the Jarrow march or the pals brigades, we are all individuals now and f**k the next bloke. I don’t sit next to the worlds leaders on the bus, I sit next to the brothers, fathers, sons, mothers, daughters, sisters and grandparents of my community......we all do.
  12. You should have aimed him out there and then because you knew you had a total tit on your hands ! Lol ?
  13. I completely understand people not liking wearing masks, what I don’t understand is what it costs them to just muck in and wear one ?
  14. I like to read conversations like this purely out of interest as it sort of backs up a realisation I have come to over many years. Let me start by saying that imho most people ain’t bad people people, they are good people, decent and mostly well meaning. However, we live in a generation that has been indoctrinated that having value in your own and the soil beneath your feet is a silly, sinister almost, outdated concept. We have been taught to put your boot on the next blokes neck as long as the 50 sq yd’s you inhabit is ok. When I used to live amongst it you dont notice
  15. There’s plenty of sentiments written here that reflect what I have read about and seen more widely on U.K. news. Of course everyone is entitled to those sentiments but it has made me think how much we must have changed over 70 years as a nation. My mum is 89, she has had to have ration cards, gas mask, black out, curfew, he dad away on oil tankers ready to be burnt to a crisp with the next U Boat attack, he brothers all away at war never hearing from them from one One month to the next. She has to take her little brother to school as german bombers followed the Thames down to Lo
  16. My latest “thing” is diced pork slow cooked in cream peppercorn sauce with mushrooms. They wouldn’t exactly recommend it at weight watchers but it’s amazing
  17. It’s like this as far as I can see mate, using mask may do something or it may do nothing. Not wearing one definitely does nothing.
  18. Magic Johnson’s riddled with f***ing HIV and looks healthy as a butchers dog.....but if he gives you one bareback your bang in trouble ! Lol
  19. Not true because you breath out as well mate.
  20. Fair play mate, but as I have said to people all along, who wants to be the one to find out if them or their loved ones are the 0.2% ? I don’t want to and I don’t want to be the one that makes some other poor sod find out either ?
  21. Not a dig at you big lad but there we have modern Britain in a nutshell ! Nobody gives a f**k about each other or much else for that matter. And we wonder why a load of odd marks who do stick together are over running the gaff.......
  22. I have thought all along that there are things going on around us that we should be making a song and dance about all the time.......using a mask to show a bit of social solidarity isn’t one of them. I have to say, where I live everyone has got on board all the way along with this thing, be that following regulations, using masks, hand sanitiser, getting vaccinated.....it really has been a collective effort and it feels like it too. We have all been scratching out heads at how the U.K. has cracked on from the get go of this thing.....it’s been a bit embarrassing to be honest as an En
  23. In a nutshell ? good post mate
  24. I’d happily argue with absolutely anyone in this world if I thought they were being a prick. To me wearing a mask is like wearing shin pads, i probably won’t get a broken leg but they are available just in case. No biggie, if folks choose not to use one it’s down to them, won’t matter to me because I will have mine on.
  25. In enclosed spaces yes, outside no. When I visit the UK in the next couple of weeks I will use one more even though I’m fully vaccinated because I don’t want to return home riddled with that paki variant and it don’t look people are taking to many precautions over there. So belt and braces for me when I’m there.
