Mate, I’m no one to lecture anyone because I gave up on my people…..I just figured I didn’t have long enough left to live and I didn’t want to be around it. Thats said, I still can’t shake my belief in the nation because Brexit gave me that small modicum of hope…..but when I read stuff like you have just written there it breaks me down again, I can’t understand why people won’t try and change their outcomes ?

We are making ourselves irrelevant mate, that’s a stone cold fact ! As I said earlier, Brexit proves you can change your outcomes against all the odds at the ballot box…..nobody took any notice of all the “cost of living” warnings or “shortages” warnings or the threat that the lights would all go out in day 2……they just went and did it. This is going to sound sarcastic and it’s not meant that way at all, it’s just a comment but Boris can do exactly the same next year and the year after that and the year after and who ever succeed him can do the same because they were tactically voted in. The choice is there mate with all due respect, the Greens….this is the bit I think people struggle with, don’t matter who it is as long as it’s not them. Fully respect that point of view mate and I think it’s one held by lots of people but imho it’s the very attitude that is destroying us…..I really believe that. Until people can get their head round holding their nose and voting for a party they may not like but that isn’t any of the party’s we have been cursed with the last 70 years then national suicide is what we are doing ! I think the point is for me, in a country that takes every rule and regulation to its most stupid limits the rule makers can’t be rule breakers……you can’t be rinsing the one man band coffee shop with a fine for 10 large for serving a skinny latte to try and survive when they are using that fine money for a piss up in the garden 30 handed at Downing Street……can’t work like that.

I think some of it you have to take with a pinch of salt, it’s obviously complete fantasy just written for entertainment……some of it I would say is pretty true to life, in fact I know it is. It’s a yarn at the end of the day mate, nothing more than that.
