Enjoyed football this weekend, some real sparky games and no VAR to f**k it all up other than a couple of premier teams….which were frankly shite compared to the lower league stuff. I even grudgingly enjoyed Liverpool and watching those couple of youngsters play, great stuff. Watched some absolute shite locally, but still enjoy just being pitch side. Tidy

I think I’ve told this before but me and my pal was there one Saturday afternoon, my pal was putting on his best “mockney” Essex accent. Couple of other blokes there in a Rolls Royce !! ( just strangers). My pal starts in with: ”Awight lads, ow iz ol Tubby these days” to the lads behind the ramp. Again, totally agree. But Jukel suggested that only “toffs” have these opportunities which is just plain not true. I sold a bit of kit Aherns who had an office/yard in Crow Lane, Romford. The old man started the firm, basically just a normal oik who earned all his money out of other peoples rubbish. A dealer boots and braces kind of chap, him and his wife booked themselves the best cabin on the QE2 for a cruise……nobody was asking him if his mum and dad was lords.

I agree, that’s completely how it is….but nothing is physically holding them back is it ? You seem a well travelled bloke and I may be wrong, but I’m guessing your parents don’t own 38,000 acres in Scotland and have dinner with Prince Charles…..you just had broader horizons. But is anyone stopping them Purely because they don’t come from wealth ?
