If I had 200 dogs I wouldnt have a "best", I would have stuff upto my standard or I wouldnt have it at all. Maybe the fashion is to keep a bit of various breeding stock kicking around, be they up to scratch or not, but I dont have the work of the inclanation to keep loads of dogs or start my own line of terriers. I hope that clears things up a bit

I know for a fact it should have 4 of them if this helps. I would have thought that as a profit breeder and hare coursing enthusiast who can give chapter and verse on the pedigree of your bitch that gos back to such and such a dog, you would have known if the feet were ok or not...........or was all that just a load of shite to help sell your salukis and plummers?

I have not seen those boots myself, but I always work on the principal of buy the very best you can afford when it comes to your kit.

If you want to make a serious impact then its a rimfire you want, you will never make a big dent with a dog on the lamp. Dont forget to think for your dog when you run on a golf course or you will break its heart.

I tend to work on the theory that if you are pointing it in the right place you will hit stuff.........personally, I wouldnt get to hung up on the technical stuff, point it there or there abouts and stuff will come down.

The most versatile size would be between 23 to 25 imho............a dog 20 or under will limit your options, especially as a first dog as your hunting may change. A bigger (be that height or weight) dog of the right sort will overall be more humane on certain quarry, again jmho. There is no "shame" in owning a small dog or a big dog if you have them for the right reasons......its these idiots that say they take hundreds of fallow bucks with 20 inch dogs that cause the nonsense..........we know its bollocks and they know it bollocks. I dont know the ins and outs when it comes to various guns, but I have a 686 and I love it........find it very easy to handle.
