I have been told that back when it was legal, some foxes will twist and turn with the best of them, hug the hedgerows, not come to a call and generally be very hard to pin down.........other times they will sprint in to their death, 4 yds and its all over. Some would make a fight of it and others would be put away quickly and easily. No different from any other wild animal really........... Are they a test for a dog?, yes, sometimes they are..........but not always Are they a test for the hunter?,.........just as above

What utter shite, keepers are like anyone else...........some are tools and some are great lads, good hunting lads who do more than most will ever dream of. The thing they all have in common is that they have a job to do and the pressure is really on them to produce good results from now until the end of the season..........there job and the future of the shoot depends on it. So take time to find out what you are talking about before posting nonsense like this.........if that is the response you are getting round there, chances are they have been driven mad with hassle.
