It's hard out there for lads with only one line of business, bit hard to adjust if you are a tradesman, can't exactly be something else the next day if you have an established business. Also when you are selling your time, once you have done it, it's done and it ain't coming back......not like having a bit of stock round you that you can cash in. We also got into a rather bad habit in this country of selling service on price instead of quality, you have to do a lot more work just to get the same money. They may be in government matey, but I wouldnt call them in power.......would you? They have comitted politcal suicide by wanting to be in government as it has shown them up for what they are, useless! Its easy to make outrageous promises and claims when you know your never gonna have to be in government and back them up........dreamers matey, dreamers to a man. My hope is that if there is room in the houses of parliment for the likes of the lib dems, then there is room to replace them with someone like UKIP.......all UKIP need is a few credible candidates to put the ordinary persons

Some cracking posts in this thread and everyone does things their own way. I never hit a dog for anything except for in-appropriate agression, be that to humans, other dogs or whatever.......jmho, but in-appropriate agression must be clamped down on without mercy because a dog that bites things you dont want it to bite is a liability and a danger. This is a real easy set of numbers that anyone can work out if you stop to think about it..........its f*****g eye watering!! There are 36 million working people in this country The EU costs each of them £1000 a year (paying to prop up greece etc) The NHS costs each of them £2770 a year (you can get private for that) The welfare costs each of them £5400 a year (and it will get worse when Bulgaria and Rumania are free to come here next year and claim it, no questions asked) Thats just those 3 things, never mind the other myriad things that government iron out your money on........
