  1. they are edited. and they are what they are, a true (to me)(and obviously the clients day) portrail of the days sport. what ever people see or hear will not stop their opinion of deer/animals dying, when even in a clinical way when the animal still dies, and that in itself is unacceptable to some. our views differ greatly, but i would expect you to respect mine and post constructivly and i will respect yours. petty digs will just derail a topic and that causes "in fighting ",(which in itself stops others posting and kills a forum) as richey said we should be sticking together and respect a
  2. Well it must be the way I write/post because any who have met me will tell you I do respect all my quarries, except fox. I have been on the wrong end of fox damage to many times, I can no longer have any feelings for them and openly admit a great hatered for them.(i am sorry for that), but cannot help it and as long as it is legal for me to destroy them the litters and anything else which make life hard for them I will. Since we are talking sensibly now,I must ask you (and doc) what did you think your first post of Money, money, money was going to accomplish other than stir me up. I have be
  3. Again you have taken the post out of contex, it was to show that the fever can at some time hit anyone even experienced stalkers. No harm came from this video nothing suffered. Only the clients pride. An invite is always nice, but I get so many to hunt here and abroad I would probably have to decline it anyway. And i'm out on my 15,000 acres every day with clients so have little time to stalk for pleasure. regards John
  4. Thanks rich, i take your comments on board as they are constructive, I used the bow hunting as an example and dont have a problem with it As for him bringing the foxes up I stand by it I will kill foxes by any legal means and why not post about it, its legal. He (the stalker shoots loads of foxes) but never any or many photos? they are just words without. As for the more money thing then he's just an arse and I was again taking the wee out of myself (because it is about the money), its my living and pays the bills. His problem is with me nothing else. He hides behind an alias where as i do
  5. As I've already posted "There's a fine line between arrogance and stupidity. Which is frequently demonstrated by Johns videos and posts around the various shooting forums as he attempts to tout for business." True to form we haven't be disappointed on both counts. Carry on cross posting across the forms Robbo as you attempt to tout for business. like I said brave man. and yes I am a member of x3 sites whats the problem with that. Jealous, jealous, jealous. See you all when I get back from this mornings stalking and going to the BANK LOL £££££££££££££££££££££££
  6. Agreed after all if it wasn't i'd be an ametuer. Would you like to see what arrived in the post today courtousy of Zeiss Your post just read jealous, jelous, jelous. LOL
  7. I bow to your wisdom matey. Dont think this would have got infected. And if you have not ever noticed on any of the videos I always have my dog so follow ups are never a problem. And if you've never got it wrong mate you know the old saying..."You aint shot enough". I also think you are very brave coming from a country where bow hunting and pistols are still used some of the deer being followed up the following day after the arrow has allowed the animal to travel great distances before bleeding out. over to you cowboy.
  8. Ah its roe buck time again and the crops are up meaning neck shots off the sticks. So my average will drop now. This is shown by kind permission of the client who was worried the does would discover us. After looking down his scope at the deer making there way towards us it got to much and the fever kicked in. You will see the doe who is nearer jump and he thought they were much closer from the view in the scope. the buck was actually about 85m's and his neck was just creased cutting hair. it was finally shot at about 50m's. the gun is an UN-moderated .308. The
  9. Another this morning shot by someone off here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPBDHEFz7qk
  10. yes mate he's still in the freezer while i decide what his future will be.
  11. well after a cold start and a cold middle, mays done well when the suns shone. Todays 6 point yearling buck. There are loads of good ones this season we have to shoot something. There are a couple that have not been emailed to me yet as my camera batteries had gone.
  12. Thanks for the support lads and lasses. I suppose some will always look in and the green eyed monster has to show its self. A few deer moving this morning. Thats it now for a day or two I have maintenence work to carry out on the high seats and rides.(Still in the office but slightly different work and the money for me to do this (spray/cut) the rides has to come from somewhere). Shame in a way as if I carry on this way I would reach 50 bucks in x2 months, still only need 6 and i'm busy again at the month end so not impossible. 11 deer for 100 this year. Anyway this mornings kill. Well
  13. we saw plenty of reds when down guiding/stalking there last march. this was the biggest red hind i've ever seen shot anywhere. Mal is 5ft 112 It was Nth Norfolk.
  14. your best bet is not to try and understand each countries laws on deer they all contradict them selves. google the deer act for the area you want to hunt and check you will be legal.
  15. The last couple of days in the office. This mornings Buck. last night and the other buck from this morning.
  16. Foxdropper I think he was referring to "other" posters. I wouldn't have answered you if I thought it had been a dig mate, One thing you are not is jealous. regards john
  17. Can the 220 swift be used to shoot certain species of deer in the uk. yes cwd and munjac /// roe in scotland but as with all .22 cf careful choice of bullets should be a priority.
  18. Ignore the .22 cf's they are a bit specialist. For all deer a minumum of .243 is the legal requirement. You must look into it before you apply as if you are not genned up they will not look on kindly. It is not a requirement to do a dsc1 but with your lack of experience I would recomend you do it. regards John
  19. Well as the day was cancelled I shot a fox this morning and stalked a 5 pointer only to leave it hopefully for my client tomorrow morning. Tonight after doing a dsc2 stalk (on paper from one shot earlier this week) i was ready to get out again. I had a deer carcass to deliver to one of my permissions to the farmer for 1 of his friends. We had put up a seat there last month so I would go sit in it for a fox or something (I had decided to shoot any buck which appeared tonight or I may never get 1). I was up it for about 7.30 and Breeze sat still below me. The 6.5 was loaded with the 156gr r
  20. Some one else with a degree, yes its about money I make my living from deer dying everyday. Aren't you the clever one. No dead deer I might have to work in a factory or perhaps wash cars for a living. many of my clients wish they worked in my office. How my day ended yesterday evening. a bronze medal No it was NOT lamped the flash was working as the light was bad. This mornings start in the office.

No dead deer I might have to work in a factory or perhaps wash cars for a living. many of my clients wish they worked in my office. If charging people to do what they want to do and at the same time doing what the landowners want(reducing the deer) why is that wrong??????????????? Instead I guide clients by the 100 and do very well thanks. regards John
  22. Barry I am not going to defend myself, do you honestly think if it was dodgy a client would take the shot anyway?? would you if asked to take a shot?? grow up man
