Magdon. You are all allowed your opinions, I have met Mark once and didn't even stalk with him but one of his staff. face to face speech 20 mins tops. if that constitutes freinds other than chat on here I have 1,000's, as usual you think you know the facts. you don't. mark is a top bloke who works hard at what he does, respect for each other and what we do, does not make us friends. Caprelous that works for me can you get a tube for me to use. he seems to think we are on speaking terms?? and now if he knows my last client he can ask him face to face about his stalk and my professionalism then get the feck off my case. yes he shoots about 30 roe a year and has been stalking 20 years. he was down on holiday and using my rifle so wasn't to familar with it. it didn't matter how long the buck was settled better to be safe and sure .

I have seen bucks chase does in march and every month. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE RUT. earliest I have in 25 years seen it is 17th july. wishful thinking mate. regards john

My daughter is now 9. She has been attending pheasant shoots from about 6. Tonight I took her for her first stalk. We went to a high seat where a doe had been seen feeding a fawn within 20ft 2 mornings and 2 evenings this week. What an oppertunity. So not to be sat to long we entered the seat about 2010hrs. A proud dad having time for an uncommom bonding moment. Anyway apart from a few rabbits nothing stirred, I was willing as hard as for any paying client for something to happen. She sat quiet and still which is a first.(lol). The minutes seemed to grind on. 21

Barry(harry) I am not going to keep defending myself to you and will post the barryj disclaimer now on every video I post on here. I find it easier to agree with you, then my threads will not be destroyed by you. The bank behind the buck can clearly be seen it is a disused railway bank rising about 20ft. It is clear to see just before the shot. the other one you can actually see the bullet hit the ground behind the deer after the strike. What wasn't safe. These boys are two of my most elderly clients so far. The first is a regular and is 71. The second is a Dane who is 83. (From Denmark not Bradford) I might start adding their passports to the films so people don't think I'm lying. the former was last night the other this morning. Both were perfect lung shots at 130m's. His video is the second half the first was the youngsters buck(71). Many of our bigger bucks go into the larder at 40lb + with about 4 a year being over 50. So they put the weight in the body not the head. Some would argue that is good genetics. You measure a bull by the size of his off spring and not his horns.

Thanks for sharing. Co-incidence but I have just run this thread on a couple of stalking forums and was going to post on here. So with your permission I will attach this as my reply. I have also got on youtube some very close encounters with deer and none was I wearing cammo, just plain green. To say I had nearly a week off after having my eyes done not a bad start. 45m's 207m's 100m's 45m's How many of you stalk wearing full camo (including a face mask) and think it makes a difference. I have included ranges here just for reference. Picture 3 was stalked early i
