Id rather take a pup with a more laid back chilled attitude towards life rather than a full on,boisterous,bully in the litter of a pup,just makes life simpler at least in their early days lol..my black & tan dog was that way,still is really,like an old sheep whilst out for a walk,hardly ever lifts his head to see where he's walking haha but when he's out for work he's the most switched on unit you could imagine,i like it this way..all he lives for is food & graft,greediest animal known to mankind & will run until he drops..happy days & i think your doing the right thing by doin

I get your drift fella ,i don't,won't,never have nor never will wrap my dogs up in cotton wool,if i thought of everything that may go wrong by doing certain things id end up keeping handbag dogs & not working dogs lol,one of the best dogs I've ever seen grafting broke its leg jumping a gate & was pts but I've seen twenty fold of that being killed whilst working so where do you stop? Don't have them jumping or don't work them at all? From 8 weeks old mine never get a helping hand off me,they either go under,around or over..in certain areas of the country there is little requirement to h

Looking grand buddy ?? ..im not really looking forward to this upcoming season for whatever reason? Just be more of the same old same old i guess...getting piss wet through,been blown off your feet by 80mph winds,driving tens of thousands of miles,getting stranded in the snow,walking the fells in ferocious weather conditions,spending hours on ferries in rough seas or being stranded at sea unable to dock because of poor visibilty,no sleep,freezing my bollox off,getting hassle off landowners/keepers & general nosy b*****ds oh & that was just last season..should be fun ffs ?

Mine aint even got any bedding in at this time of year,the c**ts are on wood im sick of them dragging their quilts out lol..dandruff free lurchers at this time of year are usually kept by rosette hunters..dogs coat will come right naturally if on a good diet,bitches often come in season in early spring & their coats & conditioning go all to cock so its 3 months again until they are in tiptop order again,dogs & bitches both moult in spring/early summer too so again there is no quick fix to getting them looking pristine..if your feeding & worming well which it sounds like you are
