  1. Seen this guy last night as the Pom & i walked back through the forest to the car,he was a cracker..Wasn't far off being dark so the pics not the best ?
  2. I don't know anyone that would use a Bull for running? They don't do bad on the treadmill when being brought on. I'm not saying they don't but ANYONE who breeds Bull for stamina when it comes to breeding lurchers want to stick to breeding toy dogs,I've a Pom here that does a 100 miles a week on the Fells,it's nearly 11,I've NEVER EVER seen it knackered yet I'd not class it as worth breeding off regarding stamina lol..Anyways to the deer Or if it learned to take a throat hold you would be on a winner .......A throat hold is great with the smaller species but on the bigger types that tec

  4. A bulls stamina is totally different to that of a running dog, surely everyone knows that? Bulls ain't renowned for stamina in regards to running,a Saluki,Collie are..Simple as that ✌
  5. Try asking again in October matey..Everything has either had young or is about to give birth, catching gear at this time is a big no no that is if you have morals of any kind? Plus you are only kidding yourself if by lamping now & catching either young or heavily pregnant critters will make a good dog out of your Bull x you will be in for a big disappointment come the winter..I'd like to think you ain't one of the idiotic types, there are numerous in our ranks unfortunately ?
  6. I agree, that's shocking is that..& if that's the kind of drive/gameness a Shepherd or Mali blood puts into lurchers then you can stick the c**ts where the sun don't shine!! I've a f***ing Pomeranian here better than that useless piece of shite!!
  7. I must admit i was always an all or nothing sort when it came to the lurchers,i just couldn't do "part time" or feed the dogs just average etc,it always was EVERYTHING to me,if a dog failed on me which they have i know for sure I've given that dog the best chance of success..It's something I've instilled into my own lads,if your going to do something then you do it to the best of your ability whatever that may be?,dogs being one big factor when saying that to them & even if your gonna f**k up then do that good & proper too lol..I know everyone is different when it comes to owning &
  8. Devastating, sorry to hear such bad news, something like many others I'd never heard of? Fingers crossed your luck changes & the other dog makes a full recovery..Atb Andy ?
  9. ..Minshaw dogs,now there's a name ?
  10. Yep ✌ and now I'm unable to I'm out of it,it's gotta be all or nothing there can never be an inbetween ?
  11. Fantastic pics those matey, superb looking animal you have there ✌
  12. Without good old "Laddie the Street Accident" the overall gene pool of coursing bred lurchers would be a lot smaller, who said scatterbred mongrels couldn't produce lol ?
  13. Enjoyed the banter & that of the dreamers too (Darcy) ✌
  14. I witnessed a big strong brute of a dog called Smash get killed outright by one back in the 1980's,all it took was one kick, dog struck it as it was running through a stream, dog didn't reach the otherside alive..I've seen fallow bucks turn & lower their heads at the oncoming threat..To play with the big boys you can always expect to get hurt or worse, that's just the way it is ?
  15. T-shirt, badge , written the book lol Has he shite lol lol ?
  16. Sometimes your dog needs to obey commands or they would inevitably get you into trouble,he's pretty obedient for a thick owld Saluki cross ✌
  17. Here's one of pups from the litter that is local to me,he's a lovely bold pup,100% house trained, retrieves anything & everything to hand, sits on command etc..Coming on grand, fella is over the moon with him,he's had dogs for over 40 years but says this fella is different to all before him..I hope this young pup does all he asks of him.
  18. Anyways f**k all these big macho crosses, get a Pom & breed Pom x Whippets, they will open your eyes for sure ? Rabbit population will never be the same ?
  19. Bill, you've had a long night writing all these posts fella, christ you ain't slept lol going by the times you've been posting haha...Don't do what i do & let this place grind you down,go have a few hours kip, recharge your batteries & come back with all guns blazing ?
  20. I have nowt against the Mal x's Bill,my lad has an ex protection Mal,it's very very biddable & not a bother kind,he's a cracker of a dog he is,bit of age about him nowadays but he was good at his job in his day..Like I say i have no axe to grind with anyone about them, might even chuck the dog over one of my bitches & see what comes out lol..Old Swift is in season just now ?..She's too pretty for an ugly Mal over her haha ✌
  21. Cracking wee pups, best of luck for the future & hope he does all you expect of him ✌
  22. There's plenty of good hard working cur dogs worth breeding off but you won't find them at Hancock's or at agility shows or advertised at stud on Facebook..That's a fact too ?
  23. I was brought up to the tune of never trust any dog whatever it's breeding or how well trained they are etc..They ALL have potential to be c**ts,I've trained racing greyhounds & been chomped on the thigh by one because a moggy crossed our path whilst out walking & because it was leashed & restrained in a surge of adrenaline & urge to kill decided to bite whatever was within its range,my leg feeling the wrath of its pearly whites, the dog had never shown any inkling of doing as she did & never did again..Point being Malinois,Bull,Collie or whatever cross, never become complace
  24. Had a Beddy Greyhound, great at catching bunnies, stalked worse than any collie x I've ever seen, even on Roe,yapped when overmatched on hares, retrieved her catch to within a few feet then spat out her prize only to watch it run away!! Had another that was a brilliant rabbiter only about 22 tts, retrieved straight to hand & everything was dead & munched to pulp, not much went to the game dealer anyways, would run through fire to make a catch..I've seen & owned two different types, they maybe looked similar but that was it..One had the heart of the Tinman off the Wizard of Oz lol the other
