  2. Since a week or so, every night a songbird is singing behind the garden in the wood. I remember a year ago, same time, he was singing too (midlle of the night in the streaming rain! ) Is this a nightingale?? beautifull songs he write!
  3. Heard one on Sunday, and a night ago there was a Nightingale singing behind my garden.
  4. Thought, put it on here, becouse there's not really a section for this. Does anyone hunt with this machine? Seems that its a good hunting thing. I really want to know if its good for roe, or maybe (small) wild boar? 280 feet/sec and 75 ftlb. Max hunting range 65 yards. ( yes, full camo stalking ) More accurate then a compound bow?

Do you mean the green ones with the red beak? Loads of them around Brussel (20 miles away from here) and since 2 years they come closer to us. From what I hear: real pests, very noisy. I shoot them when I have the chance, they not belong here.

  11. Long rifles where free available without a permit or license! 100£ We NEVER had to lock the backdoor (not even when we sleep at night) We looked to our sisters fanny (without going to jail) We stole a bucket with cherry's (with the same sisters from above), and the only punishment we had was the shiiit running from our legs for 2 days Poaching was generaly accepted (in my neighborhood) Dogs where running free on the streets, everywhere. We knew nothing! no wars, no melting north pole or Kyoto norms, no politics, no nothing... Those where the days... 37 years ago, when I was 10.

Always that "pet" thing! Why should these terriers not being pets? They are fine compagnons for a kid, a household. What if they never have to "work" in their life, something wrong with? A pet dont ruin a working line in two generations, if they are properly bred.

  19. I call it BULL-SHIIT, and tell you why. Why should a dog been dirty after work, why do he need the "marks" you all so apreciate before someone can say: "I have real workers"? tell you something about "marks". Long ago on the French border, a guy claimed to have the real stuff, he was a foxterrier and german jagd breeder, and had a kennel with around 40 terriers. My dad became interrested in his dogs, after he heard some story's on a (boar)hunt. I make a long story short, when we reach his house there was nobody home. We heard something like a kennelfight in his garden, and when we took a

  22. "still a large per cent of them would not make top quality earth dogs" As in every breed loftmonkey, whatever if they are "gould lines" or "nuttals" or... people are masters in creating myth's and story's, and its easy to break a breed, but hard to make one.
