  5. Two in a kennel outside, and two in the house. When the wheater is dry, they all run free in the garden. All working dogs, and the couple in the garden have thicker coats in the winter, more under-coat.

  9. On the first walk I did with my old terrier (14 years ago) , he was 5 months old. we walked next to a hedge, and I saw something move, a 15 yards further between the brambles. On that same moment the dog start sniffing around, so I let him go, and he went straight to that brambles. As I thought it where rabbits, the dog jumped into the brambles, and on that moment he starts yelling and baying It was a polecat, hanging around the dog's neck like a shawl!   13. Steezy, believe me when I say that a djt is MUCH more harder and intellegent, then a pat mate. That is the only thing that keeps them going until they die. Not many people can handle them properly, using a djt below ground without a good training in obedience -at all conditions- can couse death. And 95% of the Germans USE them BELOW ground.

  16. Dont no what terrier you use, but for a pat sized terrier a fox is quarry enough, and sometime's more then enough. How do you think all those working bloodlines stay alive? And what quarry are you work them on???

    Got an idea: put a fence around it, keep a couple terriers there, and in a week it look's more natural
