I never said that "commercial " food is better then meat only, I just want to explain that its more balanced becouse of all the ingredients, including veg's. Its possible that I'm a litlle dumb on dog nutricion, got dogs all of my life, as long as I remember. My dad had a kennel with sometime's 75 terriers, he tried a lot of food in his live, including meat only (chicken, duck and turkey carcasses from a local poulterer, and still born cows and sheep), they become very shiny coats and very racy from that diet,( 2 or 3 months) but not healthy on a long term, ( start to have coat problems, stink

What proof do you need more!!!??? Almost a dozen people here talk about the spontaniuos reaction of their dogs, when they get the chance they eat veg's! Is it so hard to believe that wolve's eat berrie's, nuts, mushroom's???? And when the ingredient list on a sac of dogfood says what it says.. This is a discussion without end, a yes no game!! Give you the ingredients of puppie food pellets from Hill's science plan: chicken, turkey and fat, GROUND MAIZE, DRIED BEET PULP, GROUND RICE, OAT FIBRE, CARROTS and a lot of suplements. Most of the puppie and adult dog food, contents more veg's then meat, and I dont think that the producers of this food (or other trade marks) are nitwits. Trust me, its NATURAL BEHAVIOUR MATE! :11:

In my part of the world dogs even eat bananas! and they like it very much. just as carrots (raw) tomatoes (raw) kiwi (the fruit) and I think its becouse WOLVE'S eat all kind of berrie's, nuts, mushrooms etc etc, just as bears do and badgers etc etc. Of course when you give a kenneld dog meat, and nothing but meat.. he only eat meat.

And french (from france?? ) fries (chips= friet!) ARE COMING FROM BELGIUM and are eaten with MAYONAISE!!! Got terriers( I now, they are a litlle harder), and you can shot a 12g next to them, they even blink an eye! But around newyear and with stormy wheater, crackers thunder and lightning, they lay under the chair! its normal behaviour I think, and 90% of all have it.

LEE, raw porc meat is not good food for dogs, for 3 reasons, 1. it holds all kind of parasite's and worms, especialy band worms,2. there's no bone that splinter so hard as porc bones, especialy rib's, and 3. Ausjeski (bacterial ..viral, whatever..) 20 years ago there was an outbreak in Luxembourg, and I now from people there what it can do to your dog in 6 to 24 hours: slaver, shock, coma, death. In that order. Unreversable. And whatever Dr T Londsdale says, I dont even think of feeding my dogs raw porc. By the way: The only carnivore's that live on a pure meat diet only, are cats and martens

Your butcher may be sympathic, but I would think twice before you give your dogs pigs ears, tails, trotters, rib racks. There's a disease called Ausjeskie, dogs die in a couple ours from it, and it come's from a pigs bacterial infection. COOCK IT TO THE BONE when u use pig meat! Ausjeskie have's the same symptoms as rabies, that's why they call it pseudo-rabies, and I'm shure it excist in the UK.

"Working terrier clubs" (in belgium, Germany and the netherlands)) bring back bad memory's to me, of people who steal my dogs, take away my hunting places, and other nasty and jealous behaviour. No thanks, I will hunt on my one or with a couple good friends that I choose myself. And when my terriers need a rescue, I phone my boss for a couple days of, and deal with the problem!

The two outside kenneled, sleep in wooden boxes, straw in the winter. two inside the house, everywhere! at night in my FORBIDDEN chair In the morning when everyone wake up and come down, they stay in the chair. when they recognize my footstep on the stairs, they jump out quickly and hide under my wife's chair!

got a litter of 5 this afternoon/evening 3/4 fell 1/4 pat, all black's, they look fine, mum is alright, it was her first litter, and she's doing as if it was her 7th! gonna keep 1, but the ladie didn't now yet When I can loan a camera, picture's follow.
