  9. Thanks Lads. Photos aren't up to much, could do better. The bag was about average for this place at this time of year. Your right about the sand dunes Stroller. I love them too. You can certainly have some sport there.
  10. Had a run with Philmick off here ,just to let his pup have a look, took a few pics...
  11. Monday found me scratting around on high ground. I arrived at my "spot" at 8am to heavy hail stone shower. The first hour or so Cass my little bitch was in real overdrive, casting about working like a real mad dog. Until there is a couple in the bag then she settles down to her job like a good un. My sport was few and far between. Rabbs were lying up in dry spots due to the amount of heavy rain of late. they were mainly on their own which makes for a slow day numbers wise. The second bolt of the day the rabbit made good it's escape - just! By using the rocks Cass lunged down to pick it
  12. Nice trip out lads, thats a cracking bitch iceman
  13. Ideation is right, drop your ferret in right on the strong mark. As he said it does speed things up.I treat large deep setts the same. One at the mark and one down wind at the other end of the sett.
  14. Had a quick look at a local spot which has been void of rabbits for some time. In fact I haven't ferreted it for about 10 years. The setts are fairly large and can be awkward when worked on your own. I bolted 8 possibly 9. It's hard to tell even with my 2 dogs in attendence, due to heavy cover and a stiff wind. Cass snaffled 1 after a strong mark and a quick bolt on a simple 3 holer. Lack of time forced me home but I'm sure it won't be long before this spot is looked at again soon. I found this stoat, I don't know how he met his end?
  15. Thanks lads i will have a look on google. There's not much up there can't understand them bombing it,i supose it was crazy times. Your right Simonrocco numbers are hard work nowadays .Localy twos and threes are about the norm.
