  1. good result that malc, its just a shame the rabbits wasnt a bit thicker on the ground. your dogs coming along nicely, i will see if i can find a better spot to lamp and we will have to see if he can do the 30 mark,

Fitness is fitness yes, but on the other hand a boxer in top physical condition won't be able to touch along distance runner on a off day.. yeah but we are not talking about boxers and long distance runners are we,we are talking about dogs you forget we are not talking about pure bulls or pure collies competing you forget half the make up of either cross or more is made up from a sprinting dog both the greyhound and bull are athletes in the dog world a collie is a herding dog with a good brain, a bull is a game as hell package of raw power and does not know when to quit,a collie has endura
  3. some dogs do it from time to time, when he catchs his rabbit it might pay to hold the lamp on him for a few secounds to make sure hes got a good hold of the rabbit, if he hasnt and he drops it you have the light on it allready and he should catch it again. atb trigger

  7. it seems to be farely normal these days mate, hares seem to be reproducing all the year round, dont know if its just me but i have seen rabbit size hares in late december the last 3 or4 seasons.
  8. vins little bitch run very well and had 8 of the 10 rabbbits, shes a cracking little dog whos coming on well and done him proud. we will have to get another night arranged for the next time the moon goes down atb trigger

  10. what ever the % dont really mater, its the weight that counts. To much weight you loose agilty, my last2 bullxs were 70- 77lb. They were fast+agile, and unless you get the fox close, you will need all that agilty catch the fecker. A fox is fast and can turn like hares at times . that just about sums the fox up. i often wonder which is the better turner the hare or the fox.

  13. just brought myself a 14AH battery yesterday seemed to work well lastnight, perfect night here tonite so i will test the fcuker out later.

  15. can you imagine what you would of caught if you had a decent bloke on the lamp. i was thinking the very same thing lastnite whilst i was lamping malcs dog.
  16. well my opertunity of a nights lamping at hunters paradise tonite has been cancelled, i was looking forward to running some rabbits, i will have to go some where else now.
  17. i dont know ive run my dog for 8 out of the last 9 nights mate. i will see you later its supposed to be perfect conditions according to the forcast.
  18. ive just spoke to tony if you get let down on thursday, me and him will pop over for a nights lamping any night instead of you giving a weekend for free.
