Depends how long ago that was written but i would have thought that castrations were asked for more than vasectomys today as most resuces have both sexes done before there re homed and having a jill speyed & a hob vasecotomised to be homed together would seem pointless

The tubes re joining isnt that un common , in the last few years theres more & more people reporting second & third year use is resulting in litters I do sometimes think people put the ferrets together to soon resulting in a litter after a vasectomy , but its certainly not rare for males to produce litters after 3+ yrs of having a vasectomy

I got some of the blue flexi pipe stuff off a building site when they did some new houses by me, i just asked this man if i could have a bit of the scrap

Theres quite a few people had them for ferrets , not heard any bad reports about them so go for it , might get one myself in a few months

There not fussy whats in the cage with them when there in season, so male/female makes no difference, i personally would seperate them if there necks are in a mess as this is likely to go on till around August time

Don't bank on it, did you see the thread where the OP was concerned that her dog had bloat??? To be honest any thread she starts ends in a slanging match regarding the care of the animal in question , i cant believe that the tail was '' alegedly'' bleeding for a week & she didnt seek veterinary advice, to be honest i think most of its made up half the time so far its been dog eating crackers & suspects bloat ferret with no water or food now this lot with the tail i know all folks are different & have different levels of understanding and i would help anyone who

So does that mean your getting two kits to go with your other fezzer? God you will make me want loads if you keep this up , no 1 kit to go in with Brenda , i will struggle to resist but i darnt have more than one after i smuggled 2 greyhounds into the house in the last year i am still paying for that now And you called me a chicken when I dare'nt tell the Mrs I wanted to get another lurcher. You did great Paddy , some folks wouldnt have even batted an eyelid & walked past it , i am sure he will get sorted one way or another , i am limited here to the amounts i can have , so my limits 2 , 3 at a push

Could well have done kay, but he was in a real mess with them, especially around his face. Poor thing must have been out a while if it was riddled with them I cant quite make my mind up on that, it was so tame, yet such a state. To me if its being out for a long time it would have gone more ferral and fear humans. My thinking is someone has let it go after not careing for it and letting it get in a mess.
