  2. Only thing i would use for fleas & ticks is frontline or a tick picker
  3. possibly hormone imbalance or mite? It was the hormone route the vet went down as it happens , it used to drive me nuts trying to stop her licking it
  4. My terrier used to get the odd patch usually in the autumn , she used to lick it constantly, i eneded up getting steriods in the end of the vet , but it wasnt usually to bad once she stopped licking it

  11. I wont bore everyone with loads of toad pics but i watched a good few just & they do hop as well as walk , i spotted at least 4 pairs & a few single ones , just a few toad pis i prommise & a few other bits i spotted wanted a whole dandelion head
  12. Mommys i would say they looked bigger than the males who were in hot pursuit of that female last week
  13. PMSL! Well you never know who will be about , i need to look my best and first thing i dont the toads were really active i only had a couple of seconds to get each photo before they moved on , its amazing watching them walk , i would love to get the tadpoles & then the baby toads
  14. Your right there , second childhood springs to mind, i am itching to go out again in a min but i need to wait till the creases drop out my face first
  15. The males will be randy untill August time so its a good few months yet before his hormones settle down again enough to put any ferrets with him

Heres some toads from my early hours mooch , i nearly trod on one of them , read up about toads last night & there very facinating , they spend more time on land than in water , they also lay up to 5 foot of eggs , they eat incects & shed there coat & eat the old one The sad bit is greenbottles lay eggs in there nasal caverty & it stops them breathing & they die , there very cute i think & like little warriers in armour , brilliant they are

They are pretty scarey birds fully mature out of the water and angry ...I know this from experience I have only sat at the ponds edge & watched them feeding , they come pretty close but i just watch them , i am amazed at how big they are though, wouldnt like to piss one off thats for sure well wait til the pen is sat tight. just try and approch her for a piccy!!!!!!!!! but, a word of warning, leave your dogs tied up some distance away!!! You may have to beat a hasty retreat!!! I know when i am beat i will wait until
  18. Two hobs probaly would when they come into season next year if you get kits, sometimes they dont but you would have to watch for threm ragging each other
