I would just keep them separate from any other ferrets you may have & give them plenty of warm bedding & some decent food .. allow them to settle in for a few days .. I don't usually bother handling a great deal after initially settling in a new ferret for a few days Good luck with them :thumbs:

if what i saw at the kennels when i went to identify my greyhound last week is a true reflexion on the uk's dog kennels generally then there's a hell of a lot of unwanted bull terrier types out there already for whatever reason I counted at least 15 in the kennel block my dog was in .. the other type that stood out were border collies .. noticeably more of there two types over any other i saw that day

I agree with Bert the fert , the animal was clearly very sick & didnt see a vet so basically took at least 2 days to die... i would have had more respect for someone putting the poor thing out of its misery .. vet or no vet

by installing a wi fi card or using a USB dongle. Forgot to add that bit! so if i got a wi fi dongle i can run a desk top & laptop off that ?

My son has brought a laptop & he says its wireless.. and it connects to the net by putting in a code off the modem on the main pc which isn't a wireless one & he can get on-line that way .. I cant see how that can work as i don't have wireless broad band .. all i want to know is he right or has he got to get one of these dongle things for internet access for a laptop

Made loads of friends on ere over the last 4 or so years .. had some sound advice about wildlife & cameras & last week when my dog went missing i had help finding him There a great bunch of folks on here

There very intelligent.. little things if you ever find one has escaped its housing & the exit route isnt obvious.. stick the wee thing back in its cage & it will escape from the same place again in seconds.. pin pointing where the weakness is :laugh:

Totally agree with you we have been getting 2 foxes up here in the early hours feeding because the folks 2 doors away are leaving piles of food out on the edge of the path & there front lawn no doubt they will have cubs & there will be half dozon of dam things trying to up end the bins here in a few months time there a bloody pest & shouldn't be encouraged

Thats spot on Frank , Jon is the only person i know who can give me an answer via text when i spot a bird & send him a vague description of it A very modest man & i think anyone who can put pen to paper in this fickle environment deserves a pat on the back :thumbs:
