    I had a Hawke scope on the S200 and couldn't fault it but it went with the gun, I then got a good deal on a Nikko Stirling Mounmaster 4-12x50 AO IR which does the job I want.Ive never been one of those "got to have it" types,to me a scopes a scope whether its £50 or £500...........Does that make any sense?

    General licences are issued by government agencies to provide a legal basis for people to carry out a range of activities relating to wildlife. By definition you do not need to apply for general licences but you are required by law to abide by their terms and conditions.

    I decided to pop out for a couple of hours this afternoon,a few rats had been seen around the calf pens so a visit was immanent.I had a few hours to kill before the light dropped so I did a detour and visited a small wood that often holds a few pigeons and squirrels.I got set up and walked across the field to the edge of the wood and immediately saw 2 squirrels heading for cover.Once I had made the headland I must of seen another half dozen making their way through the branches, I followed 3 of them through the scope waiting for a shot only to be thwarted by their acrobatics and their reluctan

    Your in a no win situation Zini, all I can say is keep doing what your doing. The positives certainly out way the negatives.I for one have learnt a great deal from your posts over time and I've been shooting for years.If you haven't got the common sense to know your limits,then you should ask yourself if you should be shooting at all. PS.You've still got the Lurcher boys to come.

    Nice shooting Gary, the S200 is so underrated and can be picked up for a few hundred quid.I am deffo going to get another for ratting.

    I popped over to my Mothers to tell her how wonderful she was this afternoon,and that the extortionate price I spent on flowers for her was worth it.I left with plenty of time to watch the footy so made a quick detour to the farm for a few more ferals.Only about another dozen to go.
