    there you go ,i have altered my last staitment just for you .and yes i do get a grant of the government every week ,but i hoard that for when i wont be able to get about any more .,we all got to think ahead dont we .     I've seen it done by starting from scratch. The dog in question was never properly trained by the idiot owner and passed on as usless. A very good trainer took the dog on and trained it using a modification of the forced method. Get the dog to hold rabbit,then on to picking it up.the rabbit is moved away gradually until the dog is fetching a thrown one. It takes patience and timing.Also the dog was an intelligent collie lurcher,keen to please. When re enterd the dog retrieved every rabbit unmarked to hand. As has been said though-its easier to prevent than cure.

    Im no taxman UNFIT. I DO NOT believe a man can make a living from one dog lamping alone. I've heard it claimed by a few-these people are invariably living on benefits and topping it up with a little cash from filched game. A man would need a never ending supply of game and outlets for it. This would require the lamper to venture further and further afield as the game was depleted or educated,as it would be by regular lamping. The further afield,the less time to catch-not withstanding having to find game rich country to supply your game. YOU CANT CATCH THEM TWICE! then take into account moon

    I know proven mate. Just interested to know others definition. Some say 2-3 seasons, some more,some less. Depends on the sort of work? Its very open to interpretation.

    There is a lot of shouting about breeding worker to worker,using proven dogs etc. When is a dog or bitch "proven" to be deemed suitable to breed from? What age? How much experience makes a dog? Lets hear your views.

    only to people like your self that has never tried or seen it . ,a lot has seen that it does happen and how good the results are ,that is all i can say ,and a lot of the witnesses are on this site ,and take it from me ,they are doing it them selves with there pups .like i keep saying the pups are taken out with older dogs and just left to do what they want ,.its as simple as that .
